Married at First Sight Chapter 1651

Chapter 1651
“I need to return to the office because there’s a lot of work to address.”
With a sigh of relief, Remy decided to head back to Wiltspoon in the afternoon.
Having numerous pending tasks was one reason for his return, but the main motivation was that being in Wiltspoon allowed him to protect Elisa more easily.
“What time will you arrive? Would you like me to pick you up?”
When Remy returned to Annenburg, he usually flew on a private jet. He only booked a commercial flight when his brothers were using the family’s jet.
Upon hearing that Elisa wanted to pick him up, he abandoned the idea of taking a private jet.
“After I book the flight, I’ll send you a screenshot,” he said.
“Alright. Let’s have dinner together.”
Remy felt pleased. “Sure.”
“I’ll continue with my work for now.”
Remy replied reluctantly, “Okay. Take care and don’t overwork yourself. Just let me know if you need my help.”
“Alright. My investments have been performing well so far.”
Serenity informed Elisa that their market should not be confined to Wiltspoon; it needed to expand into other regions.
After some discussion, Serenity and Elisa planned to visit neighboring cities for a market survey to see if they could capture opportunities in those territories.
Remy grinned and said, “You both are talented. Keep up the good work, and I’ll see you tonight.”
After ending the call, Remy put his phone back in his pocket and turned around with a smile. Just as he was about to head to the inpatient ward, he spotted his parents coming out. He walked up to them.
“Dad, Mom, are you leaving now?”
“Yes, we’ll head out first. You can stay at the hospital to—”

“You can accompany your brother if you wish. Your sister-in-law doesn’t require our assistance since your brother is managing everything on his own,” Antonia Young said with a bright smile.

Antonia’s eldest daughter-in-law excelled in giving birth to twins—a boy and a girl—as her first children. From the moment Antonia discovered that Jane was expecting fraternal twins, she had been beaming with joy.

At last, Antonia had a granddaughter. Both she and her husband visited their daughter-in-law and the two babies in the hospital daily.

Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette, along with the Murphys, frequently visited the hospital. As fellow mothers, Mrs. Lafayette and Fiona Clayton took care of Jane during her hospital stay with Ben. They felt uneasy, despite the Johnsons having arranged for a caregiver to assist Jane.

“I’ll leave with both of you. I need to book a flight back to Wiltspoon, as there are too many responsibilities waiting for me at work.” Remy planned to exit the hospital with his parents, rather than visiting the inpatient ward.

Upon hearing this, Antonia asked Remy, puzzled, “Didn’t you say you would stay home longer? Why the sudden change to return to the office? Is something wrong at work?”

FC & Co. was a significant business in Wiltspoon. While Antonia wasn’t overly concerned about the business, she was aware of its status as the lady of FC Manor.

If anything serious were to occur with his business in Wiltspoon, her eldest son would need to travel for work to address it.

“Nothing serious,” he replied. “But there are many important matters I need to handle. I’ll book my flight now and fly over this afternoon. I’ll return to attend the babies’ sip and see.”

As they walked, Antonia glanced at her son and asked with a smirk,

“It’s likely not related to the company; you miss Ms. Stone, correct?” Antonia recognized that Remy had feelings for Elisa.
