Married at First Sight Chapter 1632

Chapter 1632
Elisa smiled and said, “You and Josh are so fortunate to have become pregnant during your honeymoon. Congratulations, Jasmine! If we had known you were expecting, we would have brought some supplements for you.”
“Seren heard from Zachary that you and Josh ended your honeymoon early and returned ahead of schedule. She was worried about you and hurriedly brought me along to visit. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to buy anything,” she added.
Jasmine quickly replied, “You don’t need to bring me supplements. Josh’s relatives already sent a lot before I came home, and I was quite surprised.”
She was taken aback by how generous a large, close-knit family could be with their gifts.
“I’m still in the early stages of pregnancy, so I don’t need any extra supplements right now. I just need to make sure I’m eating three meals a day. Please don’t stress over bringing me more supplements,” Jasmine pleaded, rubbing her palms together as she begged her friends, which made them all laugh.
The maids brought out some fruits and desserts.
Jasmine invited her two friends to enjoy the treats.
Serenity and Elisa didn’t hesitate; they had just returned from Serenity’s hometown and were feeling hungry, so they indulged in a few pieces of dessert to satisfy their appetites.
“Are you experiencing morning sickness, Jasmine?”
Elisa poured herself a glass of water and took a sip, asking Jasmine out of curiosity.
“My sister-in-law is still dealing with morning sickness, and it’ll probably last until she gives birth.”
Every time Elisa saw her sister-in-law vomiting, she felt the challenges of motherhood. She often reminded her brother to treat Alice well and not to let her down, as she was enduring so much to bring their child into the world.
If Clive ever mistreated Alice, Elisa would be the first to confront him.
However, she received several taps on the head for saying that to her brother.
Clive believed he had already showered his wife with affection. He was taken aback that his sister still felt the need to threaten him like that. Consequently, he couldn’t help but give her a gentle tap on the head.
“I just found out I’m pregnant. I haven’t experienced morning sickness yet, but I hope it won’t be too severe.”
Jasmine was aware that the wife of the Stone family suffered from extreme morning sickness. Mr. Stone cared for his wife so much that he once even considered the option of abortion. It took Serenity and Zachary’s persuasion for him to decide to keep the baby.
“Morning sickness varies from person to person. Most people typically experience it during their first trimester and feel better afterward.”
Although Serenity had not yet become pregnant, she had helped raise Sonny, giving her some experience.
“Some people don’t experience morning sickness at all. That’s the best scenario—they can eat and sleep without vomiting.”
Jasmine smiled and replied, “I hope I’ll be one of those lucky ones.”
She wanted to ask her best friend if there was any good news, but the words never left her lips. Serenity would definitely share if she were pregnant, and since she hadn’t mentioned it, Jasmine inferred that she wasn’t. If Jasmine were to inquire, Serenity would likely feel uncomfortable.
Jasmine had obtained her marriage license nearly a year after Serenity. She became pregnant during her honeymoon, yet Serenity still had no news to share. Jasmine feared that asking about it might pressure Serenity.
“How’s our vegetable farm business doing?”
Jasmine opted for a business-related question instead, trying to shift the topic away from Serenity’s potential pregnancy.
Serenity answered, “Negotiations for the newly rented vegetable farm are already underway.”

We are ready to sign the contract. We have rented an additional 33 acres of land and a house in town to serve as a temporary management hub. While our company will be located in the city, we have not yet researched potential office rental options.

Elisa remarked, “Starting a company is a significant undertaking. Let’s take our time to carefully select an ideal location. This approach will help our business grow and thrive.”
