Married at First Sight Chapter 1631

Chapter 1631
“We need to be careful during the first trimester. If you want to travel, we can plan that for after the baby is born. I promise I’ll make it enjoyable for you until you’ve had enough.”
Josh made a promise to his wife.
The baby she was carrying was of the highest priority.
Though Jasmine was healthy and the early stages of pregnancy were typically safe, Josh was determined not to take any chances. After learning about Jasmine’s pregnancy, he immediately halted their trip and rushed back home with her.
He even borrowed a private plane from Julian, his family member.
When Julian heard that his sister-in-law was expecting, he took it seriously. Right after Josh called him, he arranged for a private plane to bring Josh and Jasmine back home.
Josh was the first in their generation to get married, and the baby in Jasmine’s womb would be the first of the new Bucham family lineage. Once the entire family learned of her pregnancy, they were thrilled. Relatives sent over numerous supplements before the couple returned home.
Some older family members even gifted them essential household items for when the baby arrives.
With so many people focused on Jasmine’s pregnancy, it was impossible for Josh not to feel anxious.
“When the baby arrives, we won’t want to be apart from her or him. How can we think about traveling then? Hurry, open the door for Seren and Elisa.”
Jasmine attempted to get up, but Josh quickly stopped her. “Just lie down. I’ll get the door for them,” he insisted.
As he spoke, he hurried to open the door, ensuring his wife remained comfortable in bed.
“Mr. Bucham.”
Seeing Josh, Serenity and Elisa greeted him in unison.
Josh stepped aside with a smile to let them in. As Serenity entered, she…

He called to her softly. She paused and turned to look at him.

“Serenity, please keep an eye on Jasmine. Don’t let her get up or move around. We just returned after a few hours of flying, and she must be tired, but she struggles to stay still. She’ll be like a restless monkey once I leave.”

Serenity smiled and replied, “Okay. I’ll keep an eye on Jas for you. I won’t let her walk around.”

Josh finally felt reassured and stepped out of the room to give the three women some privacy.

Once downstairs, he asked two maids to bring some tea, desserts, and fruit upstairs.

“Seren, Elisa, you’re finally here for a visit,” Jasmine said as she sat up, preparing to get off the bed. Serenity quickly interjected, “Jas, just sit tight and don’t get up. Mr. Bucham asked me to keep an eye on you and ensure you stay off your feet.”

Jasmine fell silent upon hearing this. “He’s treating me like I’m a seriously ill patient,” she complained.

“Are you pregnant?”

Serenity and Elisa shared a knowing look, suspecting that Jasmine was indeed expecting.

A smile spread across Jasmine’s face, full of happiness. “Yes! I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. I was fertile when I got married, and during our honeymoon, my period didn’t arrive when it was supposed to, but I didn’t think much of it at the time.”

“When Aunt Flo didn’t show up for half a month, I told Josh. He took me to a local hospital for a check-up, and we discovered I was pregnant. He got anxious and immediately called Julian, who arranged a private plane to bring us back.”

“We just got home today. After we arrived, Josh insisted that I must be tired from sitting on the plane for several hours and told me to rest in bed. But I’m not tired at all! I’m so excited and want to share this wonderful news with both of you.”
