Married at First Sight Chapter 1628

Chapter 1628
Sonny hummed in response.
Serenity set him down and held his hand as they walked downstairs.
As Zachary was coming down, he spotted Serenity and Sonny. With a grin, he remarked, “This kid is such a fast runner! I just helped him get dressed, and he took off faster than a rabbit. Has Liberty left?”
“Yes,” Serenity replied.
Before long, Serenity and Zachary settled onto the couch.
Sonny played in front of them.
“Babe, Liberty asked if you could help Sonny get into WLC. If you can, just let her know the cost, and she’ll cover it.”
“If I weren’t able to help, I wouldn’t have brought it up. I’ll take care of it. I’ll ensure my nephew gets into WLC for free. Even if there are fees, I’ll cover them for Liberty.”
“About the fees—”
Before Zachary could finish, Serenity cut in, “Liberty said Sonny is her son, so she should handle the fees. It’s her responsibility as a mother. Since Liberty can afford it, she wants to enroll Sonny in the best preschool.”
“If we insist on paying for Sonny’s fees, Liberty may not enroll him in that top preschool. Babe, I think it’ll be quite impossible for me to accomplish the task you gave me.”
Zachary considered his sister-in-law’s personality before responding, “Alright. We’ll let Liberty pay the school fees, but she must accept the villa we’re offering her. We should check out the villa when we have time. Given its exquisite renovation, Liberty won’t have to spend her time and effort fixing it up.”
“Sounds good.”
Serenity then informed Zachary that Mrs. Lewis had invited Liberty out for a conversation tonight.
Zachary was not surprised at all.
If it weren’t for Mrs. Lewis’s fear of Zachary and the Stones, she would—

They have forcibly expelled Liberty from Wiltspoon. “Let Liberty and Duncan resolve their issues. As long as Mrs. Lewis doesn’t become too overbearing toward Liberty, we should refrain from intervening,” one person stated. Serenity nodded in agreement.

Liberty returned to her home alone, surprised to find her ex-husband, Hank, waiting for her at the gate. Her brows knitted together as she speculated about his visit.

“You’re back,” she remarked.

Hank asked politely, “Where’s Sonny?” He was carrying two bags: one filled with snacks and the other containing various toys for his son.

“Sonny is staying at Seren’s house for convenience so Jim can take him to his lessons,” Liberty replied.

“Sonny is starting preschool. Have you decided which one to send him to? If it’s inconvenient for you to drop him off or pick him up, I can ask my mom for help. I’m sure she would be willing to assist.”

Hank felt it was his duty to help since Sonny was his son.

“No need. Jim will handle dropping Sonny off and picking him up. I haven’t made a decision yet,” Liberty said. She wouldn’t reveal her plans to enroll Sonny in the best preschool until she received a definite answer from Zachary.

Liberty opened the door to her house and stepped inside, leaving it ajar as Hank followed her.

“I bought some food and toys for Sonny. I was supposed to spend time with him tonight… I broke my promise,” Hank said.

After leaving the mall with Jessica, Hank insisted on taking her to the hospital for a check-up. When the doctor confirmed that Jessica was fine, Hank realized she had lied to him. Though a bit angry, he managed to control his temper, considering she was pregnant.
