Married at First Sight Chapter 1626

Chapter 1626
“Seren, it’s clear that we’re sisters. I addressed Mrs. Lewis in the same way. Why should I leave? Why should I make such a sacrifice?”
“I believe running away from the problem won’t solve it. Liberty, don’t move out of that street now. Your shop has been established there for quite some time, and you’ve finally gained some regular customers. If you relocate, you’ll have to start over from scratch.
“As long as you remain steadfast in your decision and don’t let Mr. Lewis sway you, he won’t be able to do anything to you, no matter how hard he tries. If you heed Mrs. Lewis’s request and leave Wiltspoon with Sonny, Mr. Lewis may never get over you. He might spend the rest of his life searching for you and Sonny.
“Even after pursuing you for a long time, he still won’t have won your heart. With his mother’s disapproval and the passage of time, he’ll eventually give up and leave you alone.”
Liberty shared the same sentiment.
She realized that leaving wouldn’t resolve the issue.
Serenity’s perspective aligned with Liberty’s. Consequently, Liberty decided not to relocate, let alone leave Wiltspoon.
She was determined to stand by her decision.
After expressing her feelings to Serenity and considering her advice, Liberty dismissed her earlier conversation with Mrs. Lewis.
She would let Mrs. Lewis deal with her own consequences.
In any case, she had promised Mrs. Lewis that she would not join the family as long as Mrs. Lewis disapproved. Even if Mrs. Lewis changed her mind, Liberty might still be reluctant to proceed.
“I’ll head home now. I need to work tomorrow.”
Liberty stood up to say goodbye to Serenity.
“Liberty, it’s quite late. You can stay here tonight.”
“I know this route well. No matter how late it gets, I’m confident enough to drive home alone. I need to be up early.”

“I’m sorry, but I don’t want to disturb you and Zachary. He is always busy with work, and if he doesn’t get enough rest, how will he be able to work the next day?” Liberty declined her sister’s invitation. She firmly stated that she wouldn’t be staying overnight at Serenity’s place. Feeling helpless, Serenity had no choice but to see her sister off.

“Liberty, have you thought about which preschool to send Sonny to?” Serenity inquired about her nephew’s education.

Liberty replied, “I would like to send Sonny to Golden Grounds Preschool. It’s conveniently located between my house and my diner, making it easy for me to drop him off and pick him up.” The preschool was just a short distance from both her home and breakfast shop.

“I think Wiltspoon Learning Center is a better option. Zachary mentioned that it’s the best preschool in Wiltspoon,” Serenity responded. While the fees at Wiltspoon Learning Center were quite high, it wasn’t a major concern for them.

Liberty smiled and said, “Everyone in Wiltspoon knows that WLC is the best preschool, but it also has the highest fees. The annual tuition is around two hundred thousand dollars, which is not affordable for an average family.”

“Moreover, it’s well-known that getting into WLC is quite difficult. Even those who can afford the fees might not secure a spot.”

Who wouldn’t want their children to have a head start in life? The issue was that even wealthy individuals couldn’t guarantee admission to Wiltspoon Learning Center.

“I have savings, and my business is currently profitable, so supporting Sonny’s preschool education is feasible. But can we actually enroll him in WLC?” Liberty remarked, noting that her savings could cover Sonny’s three years of preschool.

“I’ve looked into Golden Grounds. It is considered a good preschool in that area.”

The environment is pleasant, and the teachers are dedicated. Naturally, it can’t compete with WLC. Given our average background, sending our kids to Golden Grounds is our best option.”

Serenity added, “Zachary has asked me about this before. If you intend to enroll Sonny in WLC, he can assist with the process. You don’t need to worry about the fees; you have both Zachary and me.”

“I have enough money. I don’t need both of you to cover Sonny’s fees,” Liberty replied, declining Serenity’s offer.

After some reflection, she continued, “If Zachary can help Sonny get into WLC for preschool, I’m open to him assisting with that. Just let me know the costs, and I can handle the fees.”

“Sonny is my son. As his mother, I should be responsible for paying the fees.”

When it comes to her son’s education, Liberty was not so resolute as to prevent her father-in-law from lending a hand. Like many other parents, she hoped her son could receive the best education possible.
