Married at First Sight Chapter 1615

Chapter 1615
When Liberty arrived at the location designated by Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Lewis was already waiting for her.
She parked her e-bike and took off her helmet before walking over to Mrs. Lewis and greeting her politely, “Hi, Mrs. Lewis.”
Despite having had a disagreement with her son, Mrs. Lewis maintained her composure and responded gently to Liberty’s greeting.
“Let’s go inside and find a seat,”
Mrs. Lewis suggested as she invited Liberty in.
Liberty nodded and followed her inside.
Mr. Lewis did not join them; his wife had instructed him to stay in the car, and he was not permitted to leave.
Mrs. Lewis chose a quiet table in a corner, away from the other customers, allowing her to speak with Liberty without worrying about being overheard.
Once Liberty was seated, Mrs. Lewis called a waiter to order a glass of fruit juice for herself, opting for something other than coffee since it was nighttime.
“Liberty, what would you like to drink?” Mrs. Lewis inquired.
Liberty replied, “I’d like a glass of warm water.”
For a long time, Liberty had avoided eating after six in the evening to lose weight. While she had successfully shed some pounds, she had grown accustomed to not eating past that hour and didn’t want to alter her habit for fear of regaining weight.
Mrs. Lewis told the waiter, “And a glass of warm water, please.”
After the waiter departed, she smiled and said, “Are you trying to save money for me? I’m treating you to a meal, yet you just want warm water.”
“Mrs. Lewis, I drank warm water at night to lose weight back then. I only drank when I was really thirsty because I was concerned that anything else might hinder my weight loss. Now that I’ve finally lost

“I need to control my diet to avoid reverting to my previous weight,” she said. She had spent six months losing weight, which was no easy task. Weight loss demanded perseverance. Mrs. Lewis observed Liberty and complimented her, “You could even be featured in weight loss advertisements. You’re completely different from when I first met you.” When they first met, Liberty was quite overweight.

Liberty laughed, responding, “I was really fat back then; I have no idea how I let myself get that way.” Reflecting on her failed marriage with Hank, she felt responsible for it. Her biggest mistake had been failing to love herself. She thought her life would stabilize after getting married and having a son, so she neglected to maintain a healthy figure. She didn’t control her diet and indulged in large portions, which ultimately led to her significant weight gain. Her husband eventually looked down on her, contributing to the breakdown of their marriage.

Women must learn to love themselves. Mrs. Lewis smiled but didn’t respond.

“Mrs. Lewis, you invited me out to discuss something, right?” Liberty asked directly after chatting for a while. Sonny was still at the mall, and even though Duncan was watching him, Liberty felt uneasy. She wanted to conclude the discussion quickly and resolve things. Just as Mrs. Lewis was considering how to initiate the conversation without being abrupt, she was surprised by Liberty’s straightforward question. “Liberty, I’d like to talk with you. It’s just a conversation, and I won’t pressure you,” she replied.
