Married at First Sight Chapter 1610

Chapter 1610
“Sonny.”
“Sonny.”
Something seemed off with Hank. He repeatedly shouted his son’s name as he approached him.
“Sonny, I’ll play with you.”
Hank quickly caught up with Duncan and blocked his path.
He reached out to take Sonny away.
Sonny was Hank’s son!
He shared Hank’s last name, Brown!
He had no connection to Duncan at all, and Duncan had no reason to play with Sonny.
Sonny’s biological father was present!
“Sonny, let Dad play with you, okay?”
As Hank spoke to Sonny, his gaze remained fixed on Duncan, deliberately emphasizing the word “Dad.”
Hank would always be Sonny’s father!
If Duncan wanted to assume that role, he could only dream!
Hank had failed to prevent Duncan from pursuing his ex-wife. After all, he was still married to Jessica, who was also pregnant with his child, making divorce impossible at this time.
If Liberty chose to remarry, she was free to do so.
Though Hank felt frustrated, there was little he could do.
Sonny was his son. When Duncan approached Sonny, Hank instinctively intervened to prevent them from acting like father and son.
“Dad, aren’t you going to take Jess shopping?”
Sonny pointed toward Jessica.
Jessica wore a sour expression.
Sonny thought Jess must be upset if his father decided to play with him instead.
After hearing Liberty’s explanation, Sonny understood that his father would be living with Jess in the future.
Hank turned to glance at Jessica before saying to Sonny, “No. I’ll play with you first. When you’re done playing, I’ll go with Jess to shop. I can buy whatever you—”

“You have a father, Sonny. No matter the state of your mom and dad’s relationship, I will always be your biological dad!”

“I love you. Don’t be misled by others. Please don’t call anyone else ‘Dad,’ okay? Some people have ulterior motives and will exploit you to fulfill their own agendas.”

Hank’s jealousy was evident as he spoke to his son in front of Duncan and Liberty.

“Hank,” Liberty interjected, “why are you saying this to Sonny?”

“I’m just speaking the truth.” Hank shot a glance at Duncan before addressing Liberty again. “Despite our troubled past, you are still Sonny’s mother. I wish you well and just want to remind you not to be deceived by others.”

“Thank you for the reminder. I’m well aware of what’s going on,” Liberty replied coldly. She didn’t love Duncan, but she trusted him.

“Hank…”

Jessica suddenly wrapped her arms around her stomach, grimacing as she called out to Hank, “Hank, my stomach doesn’t feel right. I’m worried it might be a sign of a miscarriage.”

Hank immediately set Sonny down and rushed over to Jessica. He held her tightly, his tone anxious. “You were fine just a moment ago. Why do you feel unwell now? You’re over three months pregnant; the baby should be fine.”

“It’s probably just because I’ve been standing too long. My stomach feels uncomfortable,” Jessica explained. “Hank, can we go home now?”

He supported her as they walked to his car. “Of course, we’ll head home first. I’ll help you get what you need another day.”
