Married at First Sight Chapter 1600

Chapter 1600
Afterward, Callum returned the money bouquet he had taken back into Camryn’s arms. He spoke softly, “Camryn, you can keep counting the money. The food will be ready soon.”
“You don’t need to worry about those people. I’m here. I’ll even hold up the sky if it falls.”
With that, Callum shot another glare at Mr. Chandler. “Don’t you know that Camryn is my fiancée? You dared to touch my fiancée. How audacious of the Chandler family.”
His words dripped with menace.
Mr. Chandler’s expression shifted. He quickly replied, “It’s a misunderstanding, Mr. York. We… we recognize our mistakes. We’re Camryn’s cousins. My mother is her aunt. We’re family.”
Callum let out a cold hmph. “My Camryn doesn’t want anything to do with either of your families.”
Camryn shared a close bond with her youngest aunt, who had once saved her life.
However, Callum had never met Aunt Evelyn, who had rescued Camryn, as she had married someone who lived far away.
If given the chance, he would surely treat her as his own aunt.
“Callum.”
Finally speaking up, Camryn addressed Callum, “I’ll handle this. You can go back to cooking. I’m hungry.”
“Okay. I’ll start cooking now.”
Callum decided not to threaten Mr. Chandler further since his fiancée mentioned she was hungry.
His fiancée would not be at a disadvantage anyway.
With a knife in hand, Callum returned to the modest kitchen to continue cooking.
The Chandlers and Joyners were left in shock.
The esteemed Mr. Callum York donned an apron, refusing to even remove his suit and tie to cook for Camryn. He exhibited none of the airs of a wealthy man; instead, he appeared just like an ordinary person.
How deeply…

Did he think Camryn would be willing to do that? Mr. Chandler believed he should remind his mother to take Mr. Callum’s feelings for Camryn seriously. Mr. Callum was being sincere; he wasn’t merely seeking entertainment by dating a blind person. The young men of the York family generally did not play with emotions. They would always make their move after carefully considering their target. They were devoted partners who would not change their affections.

Camryn said to her eldest cousin, rather indifferently, “There are 60 potted plants on each rack. You all knocked over four of my racks, totaling 240 plants. 120 of those are small plants, priced between $30 and $50. I’ll calculate the average price and charge you $40 each. The other 120 plants are medium-sized, sold for $50 to $100. I’ll charge you $80 each.”

“Each potted flower had its own pot, but you destroyed them. You used my new pots, which cost money too. I’ll charge $20 for the small pots and $50 for the medium ones. Edward said he would compensate me according to the original prices.”

“In total, you owe me $22,800. I’ve even given you a discount since we’re cousins.”

Edward Chandler exclaimed, “Camryn, are you robbing a bank?”

They had to pay over twenty thousand dollars just for knocking over a few racks.

“Is there a bank worth that much? Robbing such a bank would be a significant loss.”

Edward was left speechless.

“Are you all going to pay according to the cost? Or do you want to compensate me with even more after I call the police to handle this?”

The cousins silently criticized Camryn for being ruthless. Just then, Callum emerged holding a knife.

Store assistants and bodyguards kept staring at them as well. They reverted to being cowards again. Edward said, “We’ll pay you back. How much was it again? I’ll pay you now.” “$22,800. You can scan my QR code, but I prefer cash,” came the response. “Give her cash,” Callum suggested. His fiancée’s phone was an old model, and if they paid via QR code, the store assistant would receive the funds and then have to withdraw the cash for Camryn. That would be inconvenient.
