Married at First Sight Chapter 1597

Chapter 1597
“Camryn.”
Callum’s gaze on her red lips grew increasingly intense.
Though Camryn couldn’t see his expression, she sensed the shift in him.
His voice turned raspier as he called her name.
He contemplated taking advantage of her again.
Realizing this, Camryn quickly stepped back.
She held the large bouquet of money flowers that the bully had forcibly given her.
In her haste to retreat, she bumped into a flower pot.
As she began to fall, a pair of strong hands caught her.
Callum swiftly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.
The sensation of her soft, warm body against him felt delightful.
Once she regained her composure, Camryn began to resist. She softly exclaimed, “Let me go, Callum.”
There were still employees in her store.
The two store assistants and two bodyguards were watching the street and did not witness Mr. York’s actions.
“I was saving you, not taking advantage of you,” Callum whispered in her ear.
He couldn’t help but plant a quick kiss on her cheek.
He chuckled when he felt her shudder.
It turned out she was quite sensitive.
Now aware of her sensitive spot, he knew how to tease her.
“Callum York!”
Camryn was very sensitive; she couldn’t help but tremble after his kiss.
“Thank me.”
Camryn fell silent but eventually relented. She lifted her head, facing him with sincerity. Her red lips moved as she said, “Thank you for saving me, Callum.”
His name had never sounded so sweet as it did in that moment.
His bones felt as if they were melting at the sound of her voice.
Unfortunately, they were still in her flower shop.
He could

“Not engage in more wicked things,” Camryn thought.

“Just one sentence?”

Camryn felt on the verge of losing her mind. What else could he possibly want?

“Treat me to a meal.”

Again?

After a moment of silence, Camryn replied, “Alright. I’ll treat you to a meal. We can eat at my store, and I’ll cook for you.”

“You can cook?”

“No.”

Camryn knew she wouldn’t be able to prepare a hearty, nutritious meal filled with love for her partner like other women could, given her blindness.

“You don’t have to cook just because of your bad eyesight. I’d be perfectly happy if you ordered food and shared it with me. I just don’t want you cooking; I worry you might accidentally cut or burn yourself. If you want to eat at home, I’ll take care of it.”

Camryn was left speechless.

How could the York family raise a man like him?

The Yorks were wealthy—the richest family in Wiltspoon—but every man in the family knew how to cook and adapt. They lacked the arrogance often found among wealthy sons.

Old Mrs. York was likely smiling with satisfaction somewhere, pleased with the results of her teachings. All her boys’ admirers would be thrilled with their skills.

It seemed that the admirers couldn’t resist such remarkable men either.

Finally, Callum let go of Camryn.

He had no choice; people were passing by on the street.

Camryn was easily embarrassed too.

If he were to give her a passionate kiss, she would undoubtedly avoid him for at least half a month. “Sit here,” he said.
