Married at First Sight Chapter 1592

Chapter 1592
Liberty considered Lily’s words and began to suspect that Duncan had used the contract with Lily as a means to persuade her to advocate for him.
Lily seemed to sense Liberty’s thoughts and smiled. “Duncan didn’t ask me to come here to convince you. I simply noticed that he kept getting turned down, so I felt compelled to speak positively about him.”
“Ms. Harmon, I only see Mr. Lewis as a friend.”
“Is that because Mrs. Lewis doesn’t approve?”
“It has nothing to do with Mrs. Lewis. My feelings for Mr. Lewis are purely platonic; I have no other intentions.”
While Mrs. Lewis was one factor, she was not the primary reason for Liberty’s feelings. Ultimately, Liberty did not accept Duncan because she did not love him.
She considered him a friend, devoid of romantic feelings.
After her divorce from Hank, she had vowed not to remarry in the near future.
After some thought, Lily replied, “That’s true. If you don’t have feelings for him, it’s difficult to accept his love. We shouldn’t settle for just anyone.”
This was particularly relevant for Liberty, given her past emotional turmoil.
“Ms. Harmon, you and Mr. Lewis would make a great couple.”
They shared similar backgrounds, and Mrs. Lewis had a fondness for Lily.
Liberty believed that Lily was the ideal match for Duncan.
Lily smiled and responded, “While Duncan and I may seem compatible, he doesn’t share my feelings, and I value my dignity. Since he rejected me, I’ve let go of any hope. I don’t want to be one of those women who pester.”
Lily preferred to take her time in finding a partner, hoping to meet someone who would be exclusively devoted to her.
Liberty was at a loss for words.
She admired Lily and thought she resembled Elisa in many ways.
They would both strive for their own happiness.

It is best to pursue a crush, but when someone discovers that their crush is interested in someone else, they often let go immediately. Elisa mentioned that she had dignity and felt there was no need to compete with other women for a man. She released Zachary and ultimately found the love that truly belonged to her. Meanwhile, Remy passionately pursued Elisa, refusing to give up on her despite the Stones’ disapproval.

“Are you fully recovered?” Lily changed the subject.

Liberty expressed her gratitude, responding, “I’m recovering well, but my arms do get sore after working for a while, and the wound can start to hurt a bit. When that happens, I won’t be able to put much strength in my arm.”

“Ms. Hunt, you shouldn’t overwork yourself. Health is more important than anything,” Lily advised.

“I won’t push myself too hard. I’ll take a break if I feel any discomfort,” Liberty assured her.

Fortunately, Liberty only had to prepare breakfast, so she worked in the morning and could rest for the rest of the day.

After chatting for a while, Lily took out a business card, handed it to Liberty, and said, “I have to rush to the airport, so I can’t stay and chat. This is my business card. If you need any help in the future, feel free to contact me.”

Liberty accepted the business card with both hands and thanked her. She got up to see Lily off.

Lily’s car was parked outside, but it wasn’t hers; Mrs. Lewis had lent it to her temporarily, and a driver was waiting there.

“Ms. Hunt, you don’t need to see me off,” Lily said.

Liberty paused in front of the car and watched as Lily got in. The driver started the engine and drove Lily to the airport.
