Married at First Sight Chapter 1584

Chapter 1584
In less than two minutes, Zachary shifted from a passive role to a more active one. He carried his wife to the bed and sought more intimacy.
No words were necessary for the remainder of the night.
The next day, Jasmine would visit her family home as Mrs. Bucham.
Serenity and her sister were having lunch at the Soxes’ residence.
Of course, Zachary would be accompanying his wife.
Following the visit, Jasmine and Josh would embark on their honeymoon the next day.
This would also signal the conclusion of the brief public holidays.
Then it would be time to return to work, school, and the usual business routine.
For the general public, it was time to resume their normal schedules.
Aside from overseeing the shop, Serenity planned to make time to return to her hometown with Elisa to check on agricultural progress.
The seasonal vegetables had been planted as scheduled.
Surveying the lush greenery, Elisa informed Serenity, “The administrator said the vegetables will be ready for sale in another week.”
Serenity examined the plantation and asked, “Can we sell everything to the hotels and school cafeterias we negotiated with?”
“No. We have a large plantation with a variety of greens. The few hotels and school cafeterias won’t be able to take all the crops. I need to reach out and secure deals with more hotels and cafeterias,” Elisa replied.
“We can collaborate with a few established sellers in the market,” Serenity suggested. “Since we’re just starting out, we can partner with anyone interested in our vegetables. We welcome businesses of all sizes.”
They aimed to market the vegetables independently instead of involving their families.
Serenity anticipated managing numerous other commercial activities in the future as she was the wife of the

York’s heir should not be confined to handling paperwork like account books; she should gain a bit of knowledge about every trade. To start, she could bring in sales for the sake of experience. Elisa agreed with Serenity’s suggestion.

The two inspected the plantation before having lunch at a local restaurant, then hurried back to the city. The vegetables from the plantation would be ready for market in a week, so Elisa and Serenity needed to return promptly to find more partners. Serenity would focus on market operations.

Given Elisa’s privileged background, it was not appropriate for her to scout the markets for partners. Although Serenity was now Mrs. York, she had grown up experiencing all walks of life and had a better understanding of vegetable prices in the market.

Elisa and Serenity were busy every day. Occasionally, Serenity had to socialize with Zachary at dinner parties and other events. In the past, Zachary had little interest in social gatherings, unless they were hosted by the Marshalls. However, now he could be found at any event he was invited to, primarily to showcase his wife. He aimed to introduce her to CEOs, achieving two goals: building her network and demonstrating his affection for her.

Everyone in the Wiltspoon commercial scene recognized the depth of Mr. York’s love for his wife. Nonetheless, Zachary sensed that he was no longer a priority for Serenity lately.

That night, when Zachary returned home, he noticed Serenity’s car was absent from the garage, indicating she was not yet home. It was eleven o’clock at night, and he stepped out of the car looking quite upset. Spotting his boss’s tense expression, Sam cautiously inquired, “Did you have a bad day, sir?”

“Is Mrs. York home yet?”
“No.”
Sam realized why Mr. Zachary seemed unhappy.
His wife had been coming home later than he had lately, leading Mr. Zachary to believe she was too occupied with work to pay him any attention.
“It’s late. Why isn’t she home yet?”
Zachary muttered as he walked into the house, pulling out his phone to call Serenity.
Serenity answered the call quickly.
“What’s wrong, babe?”
“I miss you.”
Even though Zachary was frustrated by his wife’s neglect, he couldn’t let it show in his tone, especially when he heard her voice.
