Married at First Sight Chapter 1556

Chapter 1556
“If you ever have any questions in the future, feel free to ask us or Zack. Although Zack primarily handles matters outside the family, he is also well-informed about family affairs.”
Serenity nodded, relieved that she could depend on Zachary.
“Are you going downstairs now, or will you stay here to read the ledgers?” Tania inquired.
Serenity considered it and replied, “Since my sister and Mr. Lewis are here, we should go downstairs first. There are too many books for me to finish reading in a short time. I’ll come back to read them when I have free time tonight.”
Tania hummed in agreement.
The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law left the small study together, with Tania locking the door behind them.
She added, “The study is an important space, and generally, no one else is allowed to enter. We are responsible for its upkeep. I’ll tidy it up when you’re not around, but if you and Zack move back to the manor in the future, I’ll leave the care of it to you.”
“Okay,” Serenity replied.
It was no surprise that Zachary hesitated to move back into the manor with her so soon.
While the distance and inconvenience of commuting to work were factors, the main reason was that he didn’t want her to bear the responsibilities of being the lady of the house at this early stage. He wanted her to enjoy life and have more time for her happiness.
Serenity felt deeply touched by Zachary’s thoughtful intentions.
This man was truly considerate and loved her immensely.
When Tania and Serenity entered the small study, Callum’s mother, Zachary’s second aunt, was awakening.
Though she did not remember Brenda or Amy, Mason explained, “They are Ms. Camryn’s eldest and second aunts.”
“Camryn’s aunts? Please invite them in.”

Rosella gracefully took a seat in front of the sofa and instructed Mason to inform the security post at the gate to allow the two ladies who had been waiting for a considerable time to enter.

She didn’t have a strong impression of Camryn’s three aunts. The Newman family was relatively well-off, but their wealth paled in comparison to the Yorks.

Newman Enterprise had amassed its fortune because Mr. Newman had killed his younger brother to seize control of the company, which he then managed diligently.

Nevertheless, the disparity between a family with assets in the billions and one with hundreds of billions remained significant.

Brenda’s and Amy’s in-laws were indeed wealthy and attended social gatherings with other ladies; however, they were not on the same level as those from the York family. As a result, Rosella had little recollection of Brenda and Amy.

Were it not for their connection as Camryn’s aunts, they would not have been permitted to enter Wildridge Manor.

Mason responded with respect.

“The company is on holiday these days. Is Callum not back?” Rosella inquired.

“No, but Mr. Zachary and his wife are here, along with Mr. Lewis,” he replied.

Rosella acknowledged this with a hum and stated, “Since Zack and Serenity are back, the others will likely follow. We’ll have lunch at Tania’s place.”

Mason again responded respectfully.

He pulled out his phone and called the security guard on duty at the manor’s main entrance.

He informed the guard to allow Brenda and Amy to enter the manor.

Someone would be there to escort the two women to meet Rosella.

While waiting for their arrival, Rosella decided to dine first.
