Married at First Sight Chapter 1533

Chapter 1533
“I’ll count to three. If you can’t decide, I’ll carry you away.”
Seeing Camryn still unwilling to budge, Callum threatened her once more.
He began counting.
Worried that Callum might actually knock her out and take her away, Camryn quickly interrupted him as he reached two, saying, “Then please take me home. But you must have had a lot to drink. Don’t drive after drinking.”
Callum smiled and replied, “I intentionally avoided alcohol so I could drive you home.”
For once, he was the most responsible groomsman.
While the other groomsmen had consumed drinks on behalf of Josh, Callum had remained sober.
Camryn had nothing more to say.
Before long, a warm, firm hand grasped hers.
Camryn attempted to pull away.
“The hotel is crowded, and your cane could easily poke someone. This is better,” he said.
Callum didn’t allow her to shake him off. Instead, he took her cane and held her hand as they walked.
Camryn found it hard to resist the authoritative second young master of the Yorks.
She adopted an indifferent demeanor and allowed him to lead her.
After walking for a while, Callum stopped.
Camryn suspected they had reached his car.
Then she heard the sound of the car unlocking.
After opening the passenger door, Callum helped her into the vehicle. Once she was seated, he assisted her with her seatbelt.
In fact, Callum was quite considerate, despite his overbearing nature.
Camryn noticed his thoughtfulness and couldn’t help but reflect on her own shortcomings.
Callum mentioned he wanted to talk.
In that case, they would talk.
Avoiding him wouldn’t resolve the issue—Camryn…

Suddenly, Callum realized this. He soon returned to the driver’s seat and remembered to call his older brother. When Zachary answered, Callum said, “Zack, I’m sending Camryn home. Please help me inform Josh.” Callum would not return to the wedding dinner after he left. Zachary acknowledged him but did not say much. After hanging up, Serenity asked, “What’s going on?” Zachary replied, “It was Callum. He left to take Ms. Newman home.” He took a sip of his drink and reassured his wife, “You don’t need to worry about him. He can manage.” Serenity responded, “That’s good. It would be nice if he could use this opportunity to talk things through with Camryn.” Last week, the Yorks had invited Camryn to River’s birthday party, but she declined, offering an excuse, and did not attend. Instead, she had someone deliver a gift for River. Callum had hoped to understand Camryn’s feelings at the party, but he did not succeed. This time, Camryn couldn’t refuse Josh and Jasmine’s wedding invitation, providing Callum with an opportunity. Outside the hotel, Callum didn’t rush to leave after hanging up; he turned to look at Camryn for a moment before starting the engine. Throughout the drive, Camryn remained silent. Neither she nor Callum spoke.
