Married at First Sight Chapter 1532

Chapter 1532
Camryn felt embarrassed.
Callum took a few deep breaths and softened his tone. “Hand me the end of your cane, and I’ll lead you there. We’ll take fewer detours to avoid bumping into others.”
The wedding dinner was crowded.
Since Camryn couldn’t see, she was likely to bump into people.
“Mr. Cal—”
“Call me Callum!”
Camryn pursed her lips and replied, “Just tell me the route. I can walk there by myself.”
“I’ll count to three. If you don’t hand me the end of your cane, I’ll carry you there!”
Camryn was at a loss for words.
To avoid upsetting him, she extended the end of her cane to Callum.
He took the cane but moved his hand further up to close the distance between them.
“Follow me,” Callum said quietly.
He escorted Camryn to the bathroom.
“I’ll wait for you at the door. If you don’t come out in half an hour, I’ll go in,” he added.
Camryn asked, “Aren’t you worried about being embarrassed?”
“You’re not afraid of that, so why should I be? I have a thick skin.”
Camryn didn’t reply and slowly walked towards the restroom.
She entered only to wash her face and clear her mind.
She felt unworthy of Callum!
Even if Old Mrs. York had chosen her…
Callum could easily find someone better.
If Camryn weren’t blind, she might consider him.
After a few minutes in the bathroom, someone came in.
“Is that man at the door the second son of the Yorks? Why is he just standing there?”
“He’s probably waiting for someone.”
“The York men all showed up together. They’re so handsome.”
“Mr. Bucham’s groomsmen are just as attractive as the Yorks.”

Camryn overheard a conversation among several women as she stood in the bathroom. She was aware that Callum was still waiting outside. With a sigh, she washed her hands again, then put on her sunglasses and stepped out with her cane, acting as if nothing had happened. As she exited, the women who had entered the bathroom fell silent and watched her leave.

Callum had expected Camryn to stay inside for at least half an hour, so he moved forward when he saw her come out. Quietly, he took one end of her cane and guided her away.

As they walked, he asked, “Are you full?”
“Mhm,” she replied.

Callum didn’t say anything further, and Camryn remained silent. While she allowed him to lead her, she eventually sensed that something was amiss. “Where are you taking me?” she asked, halting in her tracks.

“Since you’re full, I’ll take you home. Then we can have a good talk,” he replied.

He had almost led her out of the hotel when she realized something was wrong. “No, my driver will pick me up. I don’t want to trouble you,” she insisted.

Callum fixed her with a piercing gaze and asked in a threatening tone, “Are you going to come with me, or should I knock you out and carry you?”

Camryn was left speechless. She had heard that the men of the York family were domineering. Initially, she believed only Zachary exhibited this trait, but she now saw that Callum had a similar side.
