Married at First Sight Chapter 1522

Chapter 1522
Elisa laughed and said, “I’m only nice to you guys. Others refer to me as the wild daughter of a wealthy family. Those madames never considered having me as a daughter-in-law, believing they can’t control someone like me.”
She refused to be subdued. Her family was powerful.
Typically, affluent families did not view Elisa as a potential daughter-in-law.
Men of her social standing were either married or younger than her, and she would never entertain the idea of dating a younger man.
“That’s because they have poor judgment and blindly follow others’ opinions. They believe the rumors without taking the time to understand you. When Serenity and I first met you, we thought you were genuine and straightforward,” Jasmine said.
Jasmine returned to the kitchen to prepare juice.
“Elisa, you’re truly amazing. We’re not just flattering you because we’re friends,” she added.
Elisa walked into the kitchen.
She watched as Jasmine blended the juice.
“Can you tell me who confessed to you? Is it Mr. Johnson?” Jasmine inquired.
Elisa replied, “Did you know about it?”
Did everyone already know about Remy’s feelings for her?
Jasmine smiled and said, “Mr. Johnson’s special treatment of you was obvious. He spent a lot of money on that pre-owned villa next to your house to get closer to you. Do you think he lacks a home? There are plenty of nice villas in Wiltspoon, but he chose that second-hand house. Who else could it be for if not you?”
Elisa replied, “So, you all figured it out after he bought the pre-owned villa. I never considered anything else at that time. I thought it was normal for Remy to buy that villa since even my family wanted it.”
“He intended to renovate the villa and sought my assistance,” she continued.

to rush into a decision,” Jasmine advised. “Take your time to think it over. If you believe you can see a future with him, then you may want to consider accepting his feelings. For now, enjoy the thrill of being pursued by a wonderful man.”

Jasmine supported the idea of Elisa and Remy dating but still encouraged her to reflect carefully on her feelings. They both thought Remy was an admirable man. However, mutual feelings were essential. Even if they recommended that Elisa accept him, she could end up unhappy in the future if she only viewed him as a friend without any romantic feelings.

After some contemplation, Elisa responded, “I don’t think I’m in love with him yet, but I feel happy when we’re together. We share a lot of interests. I once believed Zachary was the best guy, but getting to know Remy has shown me that there are many great guys out there.”

Jasmine replied, “Zachary is indeed impressive, but he doesn’t focus on you. While Remy may not have the same status as Zachary, his attention is solely on you, and his feelings are genuine. Both of their families have good reputations, which is a rarity.”

“Remember, Elisa, if you can’t find mutual love, it’s wise to choose the man who loves you. His affection will lead him to cherish and support you,” Jasmine concluded.

Elisa pondered these words deeply. “You don’t have to rush into a decision,” she reminded herself.

There’s no need for anything to be forced. Just let things flow naturally and interact with each other like Josh and I do. There won’t be many highs and lows, creating a calm yet joyful atmosphere. Josh is quite romantic; he frequently surprises me with thoughtful gestures, and that’s truly sufficient.

“Not everyone experiences dramatic romances. We don’t need to strive for an extravagant love; we simply need a caring partner,” she added.

Jasmine finished blending the juice and poured a glass for Elisa, leaving enough for two more servings. She washed Serenity’s cup and prepared one for her as well.

Jasmine said, “Serenity will be back in a moment. I’ll make her a cup too.”

“What delicious drink did you make for me?”

Serenity’s voice chimed in just as Jasmine finished speaking.
