Married at First Sight Chapter 1480

Chapter 1480
[There are advantages to being single. Stay positive.]
Josh offered comfort to his friend.
When Duncan was unattached, he considered being single to be beneficial.
Now that he had feelings for someone, he wished to follow Josh’s example and soon end his bachelor status.
In the future, he desired someone to care for him and provide warmth when he returned home from work.
Liberty would undoubtedly make a wonderful wife!
While Hank failed to appreciate her, Duncan would certainly cherish Liberty if they got together.
“Who are you messaging, Duncan? Is it Zachary? Remember, Zachary still finds Serenity intriguing, so he’ll likely support his wife and sister-in-law. It would be best for you to keep your distance from him until you marry Lily.”
Mrs. Lewis was confident that Zachary would prioritize his sister-in-law.
Josh’s fiancée was Serenity’s best friend. The Sox family was respectable; they were locals from Wiltspoon and owned several buildings and shops for rent. Jasmine was a great match for Josh.
Moreover, Josh and Jasmine’s relationship blossomed thanks to Zachary and Serenity.
Mrs. Lewis believed that Zachary intended for his sister-in-law to marry her youngest son, thereby strengthening the bond among the three friends.
“What are you implying, Mom? Are you suggesting that Zachary is only with Serenity for the excitement? Zachary isn’t a capricious man. Once he fell in love with Serenity, he would love her for life. The York family also welcomes Serenity, so please refrain from making such comments. If Zachary and the York family heard you, it could harm our families’ relationship.”
“I’ve told you—I won’t marry Lily! I don’t love her. I don’t even like her. I don’t want to waste her time. I’ve made my feelings very clear to her.”
Lily only spoke to

own opinions about her, but that doesn’t mean I want to belittle Serenity. It’s not fair to compare them.”

“You’re too protective,” Mrs. Lewis replied, her tone sharp. “I’m just looking out for our family’s future. If Serenity can’t give Zachary a child, it could affect his standing in the York family.”
“You’re jumping to conclusions,” Duncan countered. “Zachary has made it clear he’s not rushing into parenthood. The opinions of others shouldn’t dictate our family’s happiness.”
Mrs. Lewis sighed, her expression softening slightly. “I know, but it’s hard not to worry. The whispers in town can be relentless.”
“Let them talk,” Duncan said firmly. “What matters is that Zachary and Serenity are happy together. Their relationship is strong, and that’s what counts.”
Despite the tension, Mrs. Lewis couldn’t help but agree. “You’re right, but I can’t help but think about the pressure they might face.”
Duncan nodded. “All we can do is support them. Let’s focus on tonight’s celebration. Josh deserves a night of fun before he takes on the responsibilities of marriage.”

You have your mind set on her. Regardless of your opinion, I like her. I don’t want anyone but her!”
“Duncan Lewis, are you really that eager to become a stepfather? Her son is already three years old!”
“Yes, I want to be Sonny’s stepdad. I like Sonny and I want him to be my son.”
“You-!”
Mrs. Lewis was furious with her son.
