Married at First Sight Chapter 1462

Chapter 1462
It wasn’t the Yorks’ glory or wealth that mattered, but the love shared among the men in the family.
Camryn’s life had been difficult. If she could become part of the York family and gain their support, Dalton could gradually step back from Newman Enterprise as her godbrother. He had fought for and protected the business on her behalf for many years, and he ultimately needed to return it all to her.
Yet, he still worried about her well-being.
With Callum around, he felt more at ease.
That was because Callum had no interest in the Newman family fortune.
After all, Camryn was still blind. If someone by her side had ulterior motives, she could be seriously harmed.
“Mr. Callum and I are not suited for each other; I’m just a blind woman unworthy of him. He deserves someone better,” Camryn said softly.
Dalton set his cup down and gently poked her forehead, his gesture warm and natural.
“Silly girl, you’ve lost your confidence and are fixating on trivial matters again, huh? You’re amazing. Aside from your vision, how are you less than anyone else? To me, you’re the best girl in the world, so hold your head high. If you truly like Mr. Callum, you should face him without fear.
“The Yorks uphold strong values, and the men in their family are loyal to their partners. Once married, they commit for life. Such men are incredibly rare in today’s materialistic society. Many would go to great lengths to marry into the York family. You shouldn’t squander this opportunity.”
“I’m not.”
Camryn continued to deny her feelings for Callum.
After speaking, she instinctively turned to glance at the entrance of the flower shop.
She recognized the familiar sound of footsteps.
Callum had arrived just as Dalton poked her.

Camryn felt Callum’s gaze on her forehead as he observed the scene clearly from his car. After parking, he exited the vehicle and walked into the shop. Camryn and Dalton paused their conversation to look at him. Although she couldn’t see Callum’s expression, he could see hers. Callum’s handsome face darkened; his look at Dalton suggested a desire to harm him, a clear sign of jealousy.

“Mr. Callum,” Camryn said, recognizing his footsteps and catching a familiar scent as he approached. She greeted him calmly. It was only then that Dalton realized the man who had entered was the second son of the York family, the very subject of his earlier conversation with Camryn.

Dalton assessed Callum, noting that, as expected from a grandson raised by Old Mrs. York, Callum was attractive, confident, and commanding. Callum, in turn, scrutinized Dalton, a stranger to him. ‘What’s his connection to Camryn? Is he her boyfriend? Impossible! Nana wouldn’t have introduced me to someone who was already taken.’

“Camryn, you have a guest. I’ll be leaving now,” Dalton said, intentionally omitting his introduction and ignoring Callum. He stood up, bid farewell to Camryn, and left on his own.

Camryn also rose, intending to see Dalton off. She went around the cashier counter but was obstructed by a tall figure. Looking up, she asked, “What are you doing, Mr. Callum?” Her voice was indifferent and cold, which displeased Callum. He fixed her with a frosty stare and questioned, “Who is he? What is your relationship? You avoid me but flirt with another man? Camryn, what do you think I am?”
