Married at First Sight Chapter 1450

Chapter 1450
*”Josh and Ms. Sox will live happily, just like we do.”
The elders of both families expressed immense gratitude toward Zachary and his wife.
The Buchams appreciated that even though Zachary was married, he still supported his close friend by introducing Jasmine to Josh, demonstrating a strong sense of loyalty to him.
The Soxes felt similarly.
The Bucham elders were pleased with Jasmine. Now that the Sox elders had their son-in-law, Drake had to step aside, especially since if Jasmine ever criticized Josh in front of her parents, they would surely glare at her.
Jasmine often complained about this to Josh. Ever since she started dating him, her parents seemed to have adopted him as their own.
Josh took pride in this.
Most guests arrived at the engagement party by car; however, a select few flew in on a private jet, which landed on the ramp reserved for the head of the Bucham household.
Curious, Serenity asked the man beside her, “Do you know who the guests arriving by private jet are?”
“If I’m not mistaken, they should be the Queens from Jensburg. All the other guests invited by the Buchams have arrived, whether from Wiltspoon or other cities, but the Queens are the only ones yet to appear.”
Given their wealth, it was no surprise that the Queens owned a private jet.
Zachary also had his own private jet and luxury yacht.
“The Queens from Jensburg? Is that Hayden Queen’s family?”
Serenity regretted that Old Mrs. York had not taken her to Jensburg, as it meant she missed out on some entertaining events. She was surprised to learn that the Queens had sent representatives to attend Josh’s engagement party and extend their congratulations.
It was clear that the Buchams had strong connections.
Many guests from other regions were influential individuals who possessed wealth and power.
It’s no surprise that Josh could handle any task Zachary assigned to him, regardless of its difficulty; this was largely due to the Buchams’ strong connections.
“Yes,”
Zachary lightly tapped his wife’s lovely nose and said with a fond smile, “Later, I’ll introduce you to Mr. Queen so that you both can connect and bond.”
“Hayden has been pretending to be a man for over 20 years. She’s cold and distant, so she might not be easy to get along with.”
Serenity confidently replied, “I truly believe that I can socialize well. I can make friends with anyone. Since Callum has started pursuing Camryn, I’m most curious about Kevin and Hayden’s relationship.”
In Jensburg, very few people knew that Mr. Queen was actually a woman.
If anyone suspected that Mr. Queen was not a man, Hayden would ask her twin brother, Hugh, to step in. They looked remarkably alike, and those unfamiliar with them would easily mistake Hugh for Hayden.
Serenity was eager to see how Kevin would convince Hayden to acknowledge her true identity as a woman.
“But babe, if Hayden presents herself as a man, will people misunderstand my intentions when I approach her?”
Serenity was aware that Hayden was a woman, but others were not.
If she engaged in small talk with Hayden, it might lead to gossip.
Zachary was at a loss for words.
He had overlooked this aspect.
“Babe, would you feel jealous if others talked about Hayden and me?”
Zachary shot her a piercing glance and asked, “What do you think?”
Serenity chuckled and quickly wrapped her arm around his, saying softly, “I love you most. No one treats me better than you do.”
Zachary often fell victim to jealousy.

As long as Hayden continued to pretend to be a man, Serenity had to maintain her distance. Otherwise, rumors would spread, and Zachary would become jealous. Despite knowing that Hayden was a woman, she resembled a man perfectly, making it impossible for Zachary to promise he wouldn’t feel jealousy. Since Serenity and Jasmine were close friends, Zachary occasionally blamed Jasmine for diverting Serenity’s attention away from him.
