Married at First Sight Chapter 1443

Chapter 1443
After leaving the inpatient department and getting into Zachary’s car, Serenity took out her phone and removed her grandfather’s number from her list of blocked contacts. She then proceeded to call him.
Ever since resolving the issues with her old house, she had rarely contacted her extended family.
Having experienced Serenity’s fierce demeanor firsthand, her extended family, who had always sought to benefit from her, stopped trying to take advantage of her.
They had numbers, but everyone around Serenity was wealthy and influential, leaving them with no chance.
Moreover, Old Mr. and Mrs. Hunt were hurt by the attitudes of their children and grandchildren regarding their elder care, leading them to avoid making a fuss any longer.
In the past, Old Mr. and Mrs. Hunt had treated Serenity and Liberty harshly. They had taken a significant portion of the sisters’ compensation to support their other children, enabling those children to establish their own families. Consequently, every family ended up thriving.
Even when the grandchildren hit hard times and could no longer stay in Wiltspoon, they still managed to do something when they returned to town.
Old Mr. and Mrs. Hunt’s children and grandchildren also had a substantial amount of savings. However, when Old Mrs. Hunt fell ill and needed help with her hospital bills, they were reluctant to contribute and even argued over it.
Old Mr. Hunt felt that they had devoted themselves to their children and grandchildren, but their efforts were taken for granted. In return, he and his wife received very little. Their grandchildren even claimed that Old Mr. Hunt raised only their fathers, not them, so they felt no obligation to assist with elder care.
Yet, despite this, his grandchildren still wanted a share of his fortune.
Such words left Old Mr. Hunt feeling disheartened.
He no longer wished to

They were influenced by their children and grandchildren to treat Serenity and Liberty unkindly. He was concerned that he would eventually have to rely on Serenity and Liberty to bury him and his wife. Consequently, the Hunts remained quiet and no longer disturbed Serenity. Sid, Mr. Hunt, was surprised and somewhat pleased when he received Serenity’s call. He believed that the bond between a grandparent and grandchild could never truly be broken, as it flowed naturally in Serenity.

“What made you call me? Are you coming back that day? I forgot that you had your parents’ graves relocated to the cemetery,” he said when he spoke. After addressing their housing issue, Serenity and Liberty discovered the location of their parents’ graves through Noah. They immediately returned to the city, chose a spot in the cemetery for their parents, and selected an appropriate date for the relocation.

This arrangement made it easier for the sisters to pay their respects without worrying about their extended family interfering. This success was made possible with Zachary’s assistance. Serenity had always felt like she had married a super husband; no matter what challenges she faced, he could resolve them as long as she communicated her concerns.

“Granddad, I need your help and Grandmom’s for something. It would be best to involve Noah as well.” Serenity chose not to continue discussing “that day,” as it was an unpleasant memory. Now, Serenity and Liberty, along with Mrs. Stone, could visit their parents’ graves whenever they wished, unlike before. In the past, even their attempts to pay respects were hindered by their lack of knowledge about where their relatives had relocated their parents’ graves.

“What’s the matter? Tell me. We’ll definitely help if we can,” he encouraged.
