Married at First Sight Chapter 1426

Chapter 1426
Upon arriving at Wiltspoon Hotel, Callum parked the car and quickly moved around to the passenger side. He waited for Camryn to exit the vehicle before standing in front of her.
“Mr. Calbum?”
Camryn lifted her gaze to meet his.
He was close enough for her to catch the familiar scent of his presence.
Without warning, Callum took her hand.
He lifted it and pressed her palm against his face.
“Feel my face, Camryn. Even though you can’t see me now, you can sense how I look with your hands. I know you can picture my appearance in your mind. You’re a very intelligent girl.”
Camryn quietly regarded him.
After a long pause, her hand began to move.
Callum released her hand, allowing her fingers to explore his face gently, filled with tenderness.
Her long, soft fingers felt rough as they traced his features, a result of the thick calluses on her palms.
Yet, her hands were truly soft and beautiful.
Using her touch, Camryn envisioned Callum’s appearance in her mind. As she continued to feel his face, she became aware of him leaning in closer. Startled, she quickly withdrew her hand.
Callum gazed intently at her red lips.
She was a stunning girl with delicate features. Her lips were full and rosy, and as he observed her from such close proximity, he felt an urge to kiss her, to discover if her lips were as soft as he imagined.
However, it remained just a thought; he refrained from acting on it.
She had built high walls around her heart. He hadn’t even scaled half of them yet, so he knew he couldn’t be too impulsive—he risked being rebuffed and sent back to square one.
“Has my uncle arrived?”
Camryn broke the silence, which had grown both tense and ambiguous.

An uneasy atmosphere lingered between them.

“I’m not sure. Let’s go inside first,” she said.

Callum extended his hand. “Shall I lead you in?”

“No, thanks,” she replied.

Camryn, equipped with a white cane, was capable of entering on her own. Callum chose not to insist and walked alongside her as they made their way inside.

“Mr. York, Camryn, welcome,” Mr. Newman greeted them from the lobby on the first floor as soon as they arrived. He glanced at his stepdaughter twice before turning his attention to Callum.

“Sorry to keep you waiting, Mr. Newman,” Callum said.

“No worries; I just arrived as well,” Mr. Newman replied, inviting Callum to follow him to the private room he had reserved.

As they walked, Mr. Newman observed how patient and considerate Callum was towards Camryn, which left him feeling deeply unsettled. How had his blind niece caught the attention of the York family’s second young master?

This girl… she resembled his younger brother in many ways, both sharing a certain charm.

Though Mr. Newman was the elder, their parents favored his younger brother, and everyone else seemed to be drawn to him, too. He had always been the center of attention.

His late brother had been mild-mannered, exceptionally intelligent, and held great respect for him. Despite never wanting to compete for the family fortune, their parents still chose to bestow everything upon their younger son. Even the woman he loved most ended up as his sister-in-law!

Mr. Newman and his wife were already in love, yet both their parents ignored their relationship, allowing his brother to marry the woman he cherished.

He could not accept this reality!
