Married at First Sight Chapter 1406

Chapter 1406
Liberty had hoped that everything bad was just a dream and that when she awoke, her parents would still be with her and their family of four would be whole again.
No one knew the extent of her suffering.
Her sister could lean on her when she was feeling down, but who could Liberty turn to during her own struggles?
“Mom, I don’t want to go. I want to stay with you and Dad.”
Liberty shook her head in her mother’s embrace, unwilling to leave her parents behind.
Lisa gently pushed her away.
“Lib, think about Seren and your son, Sonny. They need you and are waiting for your return. You must listen to me and go back quickly. This isn’t where you belong. Please, go now!” Lisa urged, pushing her daughter away once more.
Liberty thought of her sister and her son.
Yes, she still had the responsibility of raising her son, and her sister was still there for her.
What would happen to Sonny if she chose to stay with her parents?
Moreover, if Serenity found herself in disputes with Zachary and wanted to return to her family home, no one would be there for her.
“Lib, go back,” Scott finally spoke, breaking his silence.
Both of her parents encouraged her to leave.
They even pushed her toward the exit together. As she was being guided away, she kept glancing back. When she spotted a bright light ahead, her parents waved at her. With tears in her eyes, she knelt and bowed three times.
“Walk toward the light…”
Her parents’ voices faded away until they were no longer audible.
She could no longer hear them.
Liberty stood up, turned around with tears streaming down her face, and walked toward the light.
Duncan, standing outside the ward, seemed to notice Liberty in tears.
Thinking he might be imagining it, he quickly rubbed his eyes to see more clearly. It appeared that Liberty was indeed in distress.

Shedding tears.
“Jim, Jim, come and help me see. Is Liberty tearing up?”
Duncan, unsure if he was correct, asked Jim for assistance.
Jim approached, and Duncan stepped aside to allow him a better view. Jim rubbed his eyes a few times before looking again and said, “Mr. Lewis, it appears that Ms. Hunt is indeed shedding tears. She might be waking up soon. Quick, call the doctor.”
As he spoke, he dashed off to find the doctor.
The other bodyguards immediately informed Zachary and Serenity.
Serenity, who was resting in the RV, had not slept well. Sonny had fallen asleep but was restless, waking up intermittently and crying.
When a bodyguard called, Sonny happened to wake up again, crying.
“Seren, Liberty might be waking up soon. Duncan said he saw her shedding tears.”
Zachary got up and picked up Sonny with one arm. He then said to Serenity, “Quick, let’s go see.”
Serenity sprang into action upon hearing that her sister might be waking up. She leapt out of bed and attempted to get off the RV.
She nearly tripped but was fortunate that Zachary caught her.
By the time the couple returned to the ICU ward, Liberty had just been wheeled out.
She even opened her eyes.
“Liberty, Liberty.”
“Mommy…”
Serenity was overwhelmed with surprise and joy at seeing her sister awake, prompting her to cry. Meanwhile, Sonny called out for his mom, as young children often do.
