Duncan appeared anxious.

“Sonny is scared and only wants to be with his Aunt Ser right now,” Zachary clarified.
Duncan pursed his lips and replied, “That’s fine; I don’t hold it against him. Zachary, I’ll stay here to look after Liberty. You should take Serenity and Sonny back to rest for a while.”
After some consideration, Zachary agreed, “Alright.”
He encouraged Serenity and Sonny to join him in the RV for some rest, promising to return later to keep an eye on his sister-in-law for the remainder of the night.
With Duncan present, Zachary felt reassured.
