Married at First Sight Chapter 1391

Chapter 1391
Zachary heard Jasmine shout from the other end of the phone. He continued to call out, “Seren, Seren!”
Elisa picked up Serenity’s phone and shouted at Zachary, “Zachary, what did you say to Serenity? What happened to Liberty?”
“Elisa, please send Serenity back first. Liberty is injured and being treated at the hospital. We can discuss everything else when you return.”
“How is Liberty doing?”
Elisa’s expression shifted dramatically.
She understood that Serenity was so frightened because something had happened to Liberty, but she was unaware of the specifics.
After hearing Zachary’s words, Elisa felt both nervous and afraid.
The Hunt sisters were her mother’s favorites.
If something were to happen to Liberty, it would deeply sadden Elisa’s mother.
“I don’t know either. She was stabbed multiple times and is still undergoing emergency treatment. We’re already at the hospital. Elisa, please send Serenity back with Ms. Sox now. Drive safely.”
Zachary wished he could fly over to pick up his wife.
However, he couldn’t leave at that moment.
Liberty needed a family member present. If she required a transfer to another hospital, Zachary wanted to be able to make a prompt decision.
He didn’t trust leaving her in Hank’s care.
“Alright, I understand. We’ll return immediately. Find the best doctor for Liberty. She must be saved, no matter the cost!”
Zachary was determined to do everything possible to save Liberty, regardless of Elisa’s reminder.
After the call ended, Serenity woke up slowly and immediately tried to climb into the driver’s seat.
Jasmine and Elisa stopped her from doing so.
If they allowed her to drive, it could lead to a serious accident.
“Liberty!”
Serenity couldn’t touch the steering wheel. She pounded on the seat and

She cried. She was about to lose her sister! Serenity had only her sister left; why did God want to take her away too? Her parents had already been taken from her, and now it seemed her sister would be next. It felt so unfair!

“Seren, stop crying and sit still. We’ll go back right away. Liberty is still alive, so why are you so upset? She’s injured, but she’s being treated and won’t die. Just sit still, and we’ll head back,” Elisa said.

Upon hearing that her sister was still alive, Serenity grabbed Elisa’s shoulders and shook her. “Elisa, let’s go! Let’s go back now!”

Elisa and Jasmine helped Serenity take a seat. “Sit still and don’t panic. I’ll drive,” Elisa instructed.

Serenity nodded vigorously. More people had gathered to wait at the hospital.

When Duncan arrived, he couldn’t help but grab Zachary by the collar, demanding angrily, “You arranged for so many people to watch over them. How did they let Liberty get hurt? How is she now?”

Hearing that Liberty had been stabbed multiple times and was in the hospital with her life hanging in the balance was devastating. In that moment, he realized his feelings for Liberty were different. He liked Sonny, but he also cared deeply for Liberty.

Duncan was terrified—he was scared to death! He had never panicked or felt fear when he was injured and hospitalized before. But now that Liberty was hurt, he was completely overwhelmed with dread. He feared that she might not wake up.

Zachary remained silent. Josh pulled Duncan away and said, “Why are you blaming Zachary? He wants Liberty to be safe as much as you do; she’s his sister-in-law! We’ve all sent people to protect Liberty in secret. This can’t be blamed solely on Zachary.”

None of them wanted Liberty to be harmed.
As Liberty and Sonny departed with Hank and Jessica, the men who were secretly watching over them trailed closely behind.
