Married at First Sight Chapter 1384

Chapter 1384
Hank’s mental state was deteriorating as Liberty’s life improved.
He couldn’t help but make Liberty jump through hoops.
For instance, Hank could buy a mini suit for their son, but with Jessica encouraging him, he felt that Liberty was intentionally driving a wedge between him and their son. Liberty refused to allow
him to see his son.
As a result, Hank insisted on taking Sonny to try on clothes.
He made a scene the moment Liberty disagreed with him.
“Where’s Sonny? Where did you hide him?”
Hank scanned the breakfast diner, but his son was nowhere in sight.
“Did you hide Sonny at Serenity’s place?”
That didn’t seem right; Serenity’s bookshop had been closed for two days.
He had already checked the bookshop.
“Sonny is in a class. He’ll be back soon,”
Liberty replied, adding faintly, “I’m not preventing you from seeing Sonny, Hank. If you really want to take him along, that’s fine. I’m almost done here anyway. I’ll join you when Sonny finishes his class.”
Jessica subtly tugged Hank’s arm, signaling him to refrain from speaking further. She said, “Are you sure you want to go, Liberty? I still haven’t chosen my wedding gown. I might need your opinion on a few things.”
She wanted Liberty to see her as Hank’s beautiful bride in a lovely white dress.
This would only upset Liberty.
“I only care about my son,”
Liberty dismissed Jessica, uninterested in her concerns.
It was easy to guess Jessica’s intentions, which amused Liberty greatly.
Liberty felt she had made a wise decision to divorce a man like Hank as soon as possible.
It wasn’t as if Jessica was unaware of Hank and the Browns’ flaws; she remained determined.

She was set on having a wedding with Hank, but deep down, she knew she would regret it eventually.

“What kind of class is Sonny taking? Did you enroll him in kindergarten already?” Hank asked.

Liberty continued tidying up. “Zachary hired a self-defense instructor for Sonny. He’s learning the basics at the gym. His kindergarten starts in September.”

“Who’s covering the costs?”

Hank believed it was essential for boys to learn to defend themselves, but he was primarily concerned about who was paying.

Liberty didn’t look at him. “Not you, anyway.”

“I only cover child support, and I paid you a year in advance. You agreed not to ask me for additional expenses. I’m not paying, and I’m standing firm on that.”

Business as an Uber driver was slow, and it didn’t compare to the quick cash he used to make as a manager. Now that his income had dropped, Hank placed great importance on money.

Besides, he had a wedding and honeymoon approaching, both of which would require significant funds. If only he had more.

Fortunately, Jessica was determined to spend her life with him, which allowed Hank to save for the financial gift to her parents.

He pulled Jessica to sit at a table while they waited for his son to return, so they could take him to try on a suit. Liberty was welcome to join them if she wanted.

Hank was curious about Liberty’s reaction when she saw his new bride trying on wedding gowns. Liberty was focused solely on her son’s safety.

Though she didn’t believe Hank would harm Sonny, she viewed Jessica with suspicion. Liberty felt uneasy leaving Sonny alone with the couple; you never knew what could happen.

Ignoring the couple, Liberty continued cleaning and was about to take off her apron when Jim arrived to drop Sonny off.
