Married at First Sight Chapter 1320

Chapter 1320
Liberty remarked that there was no need to force herself into the social circle if she couldn’t fit in. She believed that when the time was right, she could enter the circle naturally without any effort.
Zachary admired this quality in his sister-in-law. She understood her place but never belittled herself.
“Am I really wearing this? I don’t think it looks good,” Serenity said, glancing at the gown Zachary had chosen for her. She sensed something was off, but she couldn’t quite identify it.
“It looks great, truly. You have an amazing figure, wonderful looks, and a fantastic presence. You could pull off anything,” he encouraged.
Holding the gown, Serenity replied, “I’ll choose one for myself.”
The cloakroom was filled with outfits that Zachary had prepared—enough evening gowns to stock a boutique.
When Serenity selected her dresses, she focused solely on whether they looked appealing, ignoring any considerations about modesty. Consequently, every gown she picked was turned down by Zachary.
“Darling, just wear the one I picked. I assure you, you’ll look elegant and stunning,” he insisted.
The dress covered her shoulders and back, a detail Zachary chose not to mention.
Serenity met his gaze, and he smiled back at her. “Trust me, honey. If you wear this dress, you will undoubtedly be the center of attention in the entire hall.”
He believed that as long as he was by her side, she would shine, even in the simplest attire.
Serenity held the gown in one hand and playfully flicked his forehead with her other hand. “You’re so domineering!”
She realized that if she didn’t wear his choice, he would criticize any dress she picked for herself. Serenity could see through his controlling mindset.
She proceeded to change her clothes while

said, “All the clothes here were given to me by you. Regardless of their quality, they all come from you, so what difference does it make?” The dresses she purchased for herself and those her aunt gifted her were all in Brynfield. Zachary smiled and replied, “That’s why I mentioned that it doesn’t matter which dress you wear. You’re beautiful no matter what.” Serenity frowned but ultimately complied with his wishes. After changing into the gown, she stood before a large mirror and finally noticed what felt off about it. This gown was the most conservative of all; it covered her shoulders, back, and essentially every inch of skin. The hemline was long and would drag on the ground unless she wore heels. “Beautiful. My wife is so beautiful. You’re truly stunning. I feel like even my face doesn’t deserve to be next to you.” The man, who had ulterior motives, felt as if he had just consumed a pot of honey. He praised her endlessly, yet lacked the vocabulary to use synonyms, repeatedly calling her beautiful. Serenity turned around, amused, and pinched his arm, saying, “Save the flattery. Don’t think I’m unaware of what you’re really thinking. You dislike the other dresses simply because they reveal my shoulders and back, right?” “No matter how revealing they are, they don’t showcase my cleavage. What are you worried about? I don’t wear dresses that show cleavage anyway.” Zachary chuckled, “My wife is incredibly smart. She gets cleverer every day. What should I do? My love for her just grows stronger. I can’t bear to be apart from her.” Serenity was left speechless. “Could you at least use some different words?” “These are my genuine feelings. They are the most sincere words from my heart,” he admitted, also acknowledging his lack of flair in expressing his admiration compared to others.

He only knew how to express the most common phrases. However, those words were heartfelt and came from deep within him.
