Married at First Sight Chapter 1310

Chapter 1310
“If it’s something you enjoy, I’ll do my best to please you, as long as it’s within my limits. Please don’t thank me; I prefer not to hear you express gratitude. If you truly want to show your appreciation, offer me something practical.”
Serenity laughed. “You have everything you need, and I am entirely yours. What more could I give you?”
Zachary was very pleased with her response.
Ring, ring, ring…
Serenity’s phone rang.
When she checked the caller ID and saw who was calling, she eagerly answered the call.
Zachary tried to guess who was on the other end. Why was Serenity so enthusiastic to take this call?
Did she feel this excited whenever he called her?
Zachary often felt jealous of her loved ones and found himself comparing himself to them. He hoped that, in the end, she would see him as the most important person in her life.
“Nana.”
Serenity was unaware that the man beside her was feeling jealous because of her quick response to the call.
The call was from Grandma May.
Upon hearing Serenity greet her on the phone, Zachary surrendered internally.
He knew he could never compete with his nana.
“Seren, how have you been? Did you miss me while I was away?”
Grandma May laughed on the other end, clearly in high spirits.
“How could I not miss you? You dashed off to Jensburg without a word! I wanted to come along to enjoy the fun.”
Grandma May chuckled. “There’s nothing exciting to see yet. When something happens, the one stirring things up will come to find Zack and you, even without me calling. It’s the weekend, and Zack doesn’t have to work. Don’t you two have any plans?”
“A simple road trip would be nice too.”

“You’ll be bored if you stay at home all day.”

“We have a banquet to attend tonight, so we didn’t make any other plans for today. We’ve already visited all the scenic spots in Wiltspoon, and there’s nowhere else left on our list,” Serenity replied honestly.

Having lived in Wiltspoon for many years, she had explored all the fun places even before marrying Zachary.

“What banquet? Who’s hosting it? Are you still going with your aunt?” Grandma May asked, her concern evident.

“It’s the Marshalls’ banquet at Wiltspoon Hotel. I’m going with Zachary, so I won’t be with my aunt tonight,” Serenity explained.

Grandma May smiled upon hearing this. “Oh, the Marshalls? He usually holds his banquets in October. Why has he moved this year’s event up by six months? Is he planning to host two banquets this year? Well, go ahead with Zach. He’s never taken a woman to a banquet before.”

“He doesn’t have any experience, so Seren, you need to be patient with him. Remember what I told you: you have to teach your man to become the man you want him to be. A good man must be shaped by your own hands, but don’t spoil him too much. Men can’t be indulged. A little sweetness is enough to ruin them.”

Standing beside Serenity, Zachary overheard everything Grandma May said and couldn’t help but interject, “Nana, are you really my grandmother? I’ve never heard you say anything nice about me.”

“Seren, is that brat with you?” Grandma May’s voice remained firm, intentionally loud enough for Zachary to hear.

“You little brat, you need to work on your temper and that sour expression of yours. It’s as if everyone owes you a million dollars. Only someone like Serenity can…”

You must appreciate your blessings and treat her with kindness,” Zachary said. “Will it suffice if I carve out my heart for her?”
