Married at First Sight Chapter 1252

Chapter 1252
Today, Serenity visited her hometown to address the issue concerning the house. She had yet to ask Jasmine about the date of her engagement.
However, Zachary was already aware.
He informed her, “Ms. Sox and Josh’s engagement is set for March 20th. Since it’s already mid-March, that event is approaching quickly. Their engagement party is likely to be quite grand given the Bucham family’s size and their extensive circle of friends.”
Even those who weren’t closely connected to the Buchams would send gifts out of respect.
After all, many had previously utilized the Buchams’ intelligence services.
“Their wedding will also take place before ours.”
Zachary added, “Their wedding could be scheduled for either before or after May 1st. Josh mentioned they would be obtaining their marriage license immediately following the engagement. He seems to be in a hurry.”
Serenity and Zachary had already secured their marriage license, allowing them to choose a favorable date for their wedding later on. They were not rushed. In contrast, Josh and Jasmine were adhering to traditional customs, which understandably made Josh anxious.
Serenity smiled, appreciating his eagerness.
As the couple chatted, they soon arrived at Spring Blossoms.
“You don’t need to follow us, Jim,” Serenity said. After Zachary and she exited the car and entered the store, they noticed that Camryn had not returned yet.
While waiting for Camryn, Serenity asked the shop assistant to prepare a bouquet of flowers for her husband.
Camryn returned just as the assistant completed the bouquet.
“Ms. Newman,” Serenity called out to her.
Hearing Serenity’s voice, Camryn smiled instinctively. “Mrs. York. I sensed a lot of activity outside my store and was curious about the reason.”
It was because Serenity was present.
Mr. York was likely here as well.
“They didn’t get out of the…

“How did you sense them?” Camryn inquired, glancing at the car.

With a smile, Camryn responded, “I could feel their gazes; they were looking at me.”

Serenity returned the smile, appreciating the girl’s carefulness.

“Are you here to buy flowers, Mrs. York?” Camryn asked.

“Yes, I’m buying them for my husband,” Serenity replied.

Serenity glanced at the bouquet Camryn was holding and smiled faintly.

Calmly, Camryn set her bouquet on the counter and asked her assistant if she had finished wrapping the bouquet for Serenity.

“Yes, it’s done,” the assistant confirmed.

Camryn hummed in acknowledgement.

After Serenity inquired about the price, Camryn said, “Mrs. York, I’ll give you a discount. Just give me two hundred bucks.”

“Ms. Newman, running a business is tough, so you don’t need to give me a discount. I’ll pay the full price,” Serenity insisted, as she had more than enough money.

Although Camryn wanted to return her change, Serenity declined, leaving Camryn no choice but to accept the payment.

Camryn then offered Serenity a small potted plant as a gift.

Serenity accepted the gift to prevent Camryn from feeling guilty.
