Married at First Sight Chapter 1245

Chapter 1245
“Mr. Callum?” Camryn called out, bewildered.
“I don’t like flowers, and I don’t have a girlfriend. When I suggested sending a bouquet, it was merely a way for you to familiarize yourself with the route to visit me. This will make it easier for you in the future,” Callum explained with a smile. “But your bewildered expression is quite amusing. Since you’ve entertained me, I’ll take you out for dinner. Let’s go.”
In her mind, Camryn scolded him, ‘You’re the fool!’
He was unpredictable, leaving her completely taken aback.
On the surface, Camryn regained her composure and followed Callum outside, politely declining his dinner invitation.
“You’ll just order takeout if you go home anyway. Eating takeout too often isn’t good for you. If you don’t want me to treat you, then you should treat me instead. I provided you with two significant business opportunities, so it’s only fair you take me out for a meal.”
Camryn was at a loss for words. After a moment, she replied, “I only have a few hundred dollars with me, Mr. Callum. I may not be able to treat you.”
He came from the York family and typically dined at Wiltspoon Hotel, which belonged to his family. It was only natural for him to eat there.
She had been there once before, for a dinner prior to losing her sight, and knew that a meal would cost several hundred dollars at the establishment.
“That’s fine. I can lend you the money to treat me,” he offered.
Camryn was left speechless.
Noticing her stunned expression, Callum grinned. “Your choice: is it your treat or mine?”
Regardless, he wanted her to join him for dinner.
If they became accustomed to each other sooner, they would have a better rapport later.
He could also discover what foods she enjoyed.
“Actually, we don’t need to order too much food since it’s just the

Just the two of us. A main dish and a few side dishes would suffice. It’s not as if we need to order everything on the Wiltspoon menu. The hotel is pricey, but there are also affordable options available.”

At this, Camryn gritted her teeth and replied, “It’ll be my treat, Mr. Callum, as a thank-you for securing me two significant business deals.”

“Sure,” he agreed.

The money she would use for the meal was essentially the money he had given her, so he didn’t mind.

They would soon be husband and wife, and there was no need for a family to maintain such clear boundaries. His belongings were hers, and hers were his; they belonged to each other.

Callum led Camryn to the elevator and descended to the first floor, where he encountered his brother and sister-in-law.

“Callum and Ms. Newman,” Serenity greeted them with a smile, having thought Camryn had already left. She was surprised to see her come down with Callum.

Callum was tall and handsome, while Camryn appeared petite and delicate beside him. As Serenity observed them together, she felt they made a great match. “Serenity,” Callum acknowledged.

“Mrs. York,” he added in response.

Meanwhile, Camryn addressed Serenity politely. Callum glanced at her, wanting to correct her form of address, but he recalled that she wasn’t his wife yet, so she could not address Serenity so informally.

He had always treated her as his wife, practicing how to be a good husband, but she still treated him like a stranger.

The source of this situation was his beloved and respectable nana!

Callum remembered that his nana had followed Kevin to Jensburg and felt fortunate to be in a better situation than Kevin. Although Camryn had yet to regain her sight and faced many daily challenges, at least she was under his protection. In contrast, Kevin had to take a flight just to meet Ms.

Queen. His grandmother still loved him more.
