Married at First Sight Chapter 1222

Chapter 1222
Drake decided not to elaborate further. “Jasm, please pass the phone to Serenity. I need to talk to her.”
Jasmine grumbled, “I’m your sister, and you say something happened at home. You don’t want to share it with me, but you plan to tell Serenity? Do you think you can keep it from me, you bastard?”
Despite her protests, Jasmine handed the phone to Serenity and informed her best friend, “Drake is keeping me in the dark. I don’t know what’s happening, but he wants to talk to you.”
With a smile, Serenity took the phone and asked Drake, “What’s up, Drake? You can talk to me. I promise to keep it a secret and won’t tell your sister.”
In truth, Jasmine had pressed her ear against the phone to catch the message directly from Drake.
Her brother’s secrecy piqued her interest, and now Jasmine was eager to learn what was happening at home. All she knew was that it was good news, but that was insufficient for her.
“Serenity, is my sister eavesdropping next to you? Go outside, and make sure she doesn’t follow. Then I’ll tell you,” Drake said, fully aware of his sister’s behavior.
Serenity glanced at her best friend.
“Wow. Is he spying on us or something?”
Jasmine scolded her brother.
With a grin, Serenity stood up and exited the shop, determined not to let Jasmine accompany her.
Thinking that Serenity would fill her in later, Jasmine let her best friend leave the shop.
What Drake shared with Serenity remained a mystery. A few minutes later, Serenity returned, beaming as she handed the phone back to Jasmine. She said cheerfully, “Don’t worry about the shop, Jasmine. Just go home.”
“I have Milo and Harry here. They can help. Just go home,” Jasmine replied.
“What’s going on? Why is everyone acting so secretive? What did he tell you, Serenity? Just tell me!”

The suspense was unbearable for Jasmine, yet neither her best friend nor her brother would reveal anything. “You’ll find out when you get home. If I tell you now, it will spoil the surprise. But I can assure you it’s a good thing. Now head home,” Serenity encouraged her.

With a smile, Serenity handed Jasmine her car keys. “Go on.”

Jasmine looked from her best friend to the keys in her hand before playfully tapping Serenity’s shoulder. “You won’t even give me a hint, even after more than a decade of friendship? I guess I’ll just have to see what this big surprise is for myself.”

As Jasmine prepared to leave, Serenity called out, “Don’t speed on your way home. There’s nothing to worry about; it’s a good thing.”

Jasmine mounted her e-bike, started the engine, and responded, “Got it.”

Standing at the shop entrance, Serenity watched as her best friend rode away.

Even though it was something positive, Jasmine couldn’t figure it out. Her brother refused to say anything, and Serenity had mentioned that revealing too much would ruin the surprise.

As countless guesses swirled in her mind, Jasmine rolled the throttle and headed home.

Luckily, her home was not far from the school, and she soon arrived in her town, which was vibrant and bustling like a city.

However, as she approached her house, Jasmine noticed a large crowd gathered by her gate. There were numerous cars parked outside, and people were holding up their phones to take pictures.

What was happening?

Why were they crowding around her house? What were they photographing?
