Married at First Sight Chapter 122

Chapter 122
Liberty scoffed. “He insisted on splitting things evenly, so I simply followed his wishes. How is it fair that he can act however he pleases when he’s upset? You feel distressed seeing him like this, but can’t you recognize how he has hurt me too?”
“He may be your cherished son, but I’m a human being! Yes, my parents are gone, but even as an orphan, I refuse to be mistreated!”
“Are you planning to confront me one by one or all at once? Bring it on! I’ll be honest with you: if you no longer want to be with me, just say so, and we’ll get a divorce. You won’t get away with abusing me! I’m not an easy target! If you dare to bully or hit me again, I’ll ensure your entire family faces the consequences before I leave this world!”
“Hank Brown, I warned you long ago that if you ever laid a hand on me, you better finish the job, because as long as I’m alive, you should sleep with one eye open. Otherwise, I’ll ensure you regret it!”
Liberty glared fiercely at her in-laws.
If they dared to come at her, she would fight to the death!
The Browns were left speechless.
“What a shrew! She’s completely unreasonable!” Mr. Brown chastised Liberty, then turned to his son, “Hank, come home with us.”
Hank was equally unnerved by Liberty’s behavior today.
Having known her for twelve years, he never realized she could be so ruthless.
Shaken by the memory of her fierce expression, Hank left with his parents and sister, still trembling. He called his boss to request a leave of absence.
He needed to recuperate at home.
Chelsea drove over.
Once the Browns were in the car, Chelsea said, “Hank, you should divorce her and seek custody of Sonny. Don’t give her custody. Let’s see how she handles that.”
Hank wiped

Hank wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and asked his parents, “If I divorce her, will you help me take care of Sonny?”

“Mom and Dad are already overwhelmed with my kids,” Chelsea replied.

After a brief pause, Mr. Brown said, “Sonny is still young. Your mother and I are assisting Chelsea with her baby, and we need to pick up the two older kids from school. How can we manage Sonny? Hank, don’t rush into the divorce…”

“Don’t give Liberty any financial support. If you cut off her money, she won’t be so arrogant. You can wait to divorce her until Sonny is old enough for kindergarten. That way, we can handle the pick-up and drop-off,” Chelsea suggested.

Hank had a new girlfriend but had not filed for divorce because he understood his son was still young and his parents could not help him care for Sonny.

After considering his father’s advice, Hank retorted bitterly, “She will never see a dime from me again!” Mr. Brown cautioned him, “If you don’t want a divorce, don’t hit her again. Liberty is tough. If you can’t defeat her, just leave her alone and stop the abuse.”

Hank fell silent.

He was intimidated by Liberty.

“Right. Stop giving her any more money. Also, since you bought the house and her name isn’t on the title, you should kick her out!” Chelsea advised her brother.

Mrs. Brown added, “Now that Serenity is married and her husband owns a house, simply kicking Liberty out won’t be enough to intimidate her. Hank, I previously advised you not to go too far for Sonny’s sake. You need to be cautious moving forward.”

“I’ve seen the mistress you’re involved with. She doesn’t work as hard as Liberty does,” Mrs. Brown remarked.

Hank looked at his mother in shock.

“Mom, how did you know?”

Mrs. Brown scoffed, “You were so kind to Liberty before, but then you suddenly changed.”

of character. I sensed something was amiss when you began mistreating Liberty. A few days ago, I spotted you dining with a young, attractive woman at a five-star hotel. The closeness between you two made it clear to me what was happening.
