Married at First Sight Chapter 1209

Chapter 1209
Ten minutes later, Serenity heard a car honking and spoke briefly with her friend before grabbing her phone from the table. She walked around the counter and exited the bookstore.
After a few steps, she turned back to retrieve her bag. “I almost forgot the bag Zachary gave me. He’ll be upset if I leave it behind.”
Jasmine chuckled. “What a delightful concern.”
Serenity held the designer bag from Zachary as she stepped out of the bookstore. The two bodyguards recognized that it was Zachary who had come to pick her up and wisely chose not to follow her any further.
Zachary exited the car, holding a bouquet in one hand while opening the door for her with the other. He handed the bouquet to Serenity as she approached.
“This is for you, honey.”
“Thanks, babe.”
Serenity accepted the bouquet with a smile, kissed Zachary on the cheek, and got into the car.
Zachary touched the spot where she had kissed him, a smile in his eyes, before joining her in the car.
“Honey, I brought you some pastries for afternoon tea.”
He handed her two boxes of pastries as he settled into his seat.
Serenity beamed and took the boxes, praising him, “You’re becoming more thoughtful, babe.”
Leaning over, she gave him another quick kiss on the cheek and whispered in his ear, “Love you.”
Zachary placed his hand on her shoulder and whispered back, “I love you too.”
Jim, sitting in the passenger seat, thought to himself, ‘Mr. Zachary, please have mercy on a bachelor like me.’
Watching Zachary and Serenity express their affection daily made Jim and his colleagues long for love themselves.
Serenity set the bouquet aside and opened a box of pastries, asking, “Do you want to share?”
“You go ahead; I’ll wait.”

“I’ve never had a sweet tooth, but I’ll eat them if you make them yourself,” he said, smiling. Serenity, knowing he wasn’t fond of sweets, didn’t insist. Instead, she enjoyed her treat under his affectionate gaze.

“Do you know which hotel my granddad and the others are staying at? I want to go straight to them after getting the results. This time, I’ll make the first move,” Serenity stated, eager to resolve the house issue quickly.

“Yes, I had someone keep an eye on them. They’re at a budget hotel. I’ll go with you to see them after we get the results,” he replied.

Meanwhile, John was furious after Chelsea had slashed his car tires, resulting in his car being towed again. He shouted that he wanted to settle the score and seek compensation from Chelsea. Today, he was getting his tires changed, so he currently had no vehicle to use. Old Mr. Hunt and the others were at the budget hotel, idly watching TV.

“Seren, if the DNA test results show that your dad isn’t their biological child…” Zachary began cautiously.

Serenity interrupted confidently, “That’s not possible. My dad is definitely their biological child; he resembles my granddad the most.”

Zachary had never met his father-in-law, not even seen any pictures, so he wasn’t aware of how closely he resembled Old Mr. Hunt. Regardless, they would soon learn the results of the DNA test and find out if Scott was indeed Old Mr. Hunt’s biological son.

When they arrived at the center, Zachary accompanied Serenity to collect the results. After reading the report, Serenity pulled out her cell phone and took a picture to send to her sister.
