Married at First Sight Chapter 1202

Chapter 1202
Chelsea stepped outside and approached John’s car. She aimed her knife and punctured all four tires.
Afterward, she returned to the store, washed the knife, and placed it back in its original spot.
Before leaving, she remarked to Serenity, “I punctured his car tires. If he seeks compensation, tell him he can find me as much as he wants.”
“We won’t disturb your business, Serenity. We’re heading home now.”
The Browns departed quickly.
Elisa only released Sonny once silence returned to the bookstore. She then noticed he had fallen asleep in her arms. Amused, she said to Serenity, “Sonny actually fell asleep.”
Serenity gently carried her nephew, placed him on the small bed, and covered him with a blanket.
“I never had a good feeling about the Browns, but it seems they finally did something positive.” Elisa observed the scene with satisfaction.
Jasmine smiled and said, “This is what happens when evil people are tamed by their own kind.”
Serenity smiled as well. “My granddad tricked Sonny’s grandmother out of her money, and she couldn’t retrieve it. They’ve been enemies ever since. Their meeting today shows that one cannot escape their enemies in this small world.”
She took out her phone and called someone to tow John’s car away. She disliked having his car stranded at the entrance of her store, taking up space. It would hinder her if she needed to go out.
“Seren, they likely came today to inform you that your dad isn’t their biological child. They want both of you to give up on the property dispute. How is the lawsuit preparation going? If everything is ready, you could sue them for forcibly occupying your property.”
“I’m awaiting a result.”
Old Mr. Hunt even claimed that…

Serenity’s father was not their biological child, which meant they had no claim to the property. She planned to use the truth to silence them.

Once the DNA test results between Old Mr. Hunt and herself were available, she could file a lawsuit.

“Aside from claiming that my dad wasn’t their biological child, they may be here to negotiate with my sister and me. If negotiation is an option, I’m open to it. I’d rather not waste time on a lawsuit.”

Serenity suspected that her father’s family would continue to create a stir.

They understood that causing a commotion wouldn’t help; only negotiation could resolve the matter. Once the DNA test results were released, it would silence their rumors and diminish their confidence. Only then could they sit down to negotiate. The sisters were determined not to relinquish anything that rightfully belonged to them.

“What results?” Elisa asked, intrigued.

“After you informed me that they were spreading rumors in my hometown about my dad not being their biological child, Zachary and I devised a plan. We had Noah collect several strands of my granddad’s hair, and I tested his DNA against mine. The results should arrive in the next couple of days.”

Elisa smiled and remarked, “Not bad. Use evidence and truth to silence them.”

Jasmine then asked Serenity, “If, and I mean IF your dad truly wasn’t their biological son, would you and your sister still fight for the property?”

“Inheriting our parents’ property and whether my dad was their biological child are two separate issues. In reality, the rumors they’re spreading are completely baseless. They will only end up as a laughingstock.”

This situation disappointed Serenity and Liberty while exacerbating the conflict between the parties involved.
