Married at First Sight Chapter 1201

Chapter 1201
“See? The elderly woman in your family is receiving her just deserts now. She’s ill, right? There’s no need for you to seek treatment for her. She’ll die anyway, even with treatment. This way, she can meet her maker sooner and apologize to your son and daughter-in-law.”
Mrs. Brown and Chelsea were sharp-tongued, their scolding causing Old Mr. Hunt to leap to his feet in anger.
Mr. Brown and Hank stepped forward to restrain him.
Old Mr. Hunt pointed a finger at Mrs. Brown and shouted, “This is none of your business! Who do you think you are? You, a Brown, have no right to interfere in the affairs of the Hunt family.”
“A married daughter is like spilled water. It was the sisters who shamefully returned to fight over property. Do you give any of your assets to your daughter? No, you leave everything to your son. Look at you talking.”
Chelsea retorted loudly, “I married a capable man. I have a house, a car, and savings. I forfeited my inheritance for my younger brother. I willingly gave it to him, do you understand? Serenity and Liberty never mentioned giving their parents’ assets to you. You’re just taking advantage of them because they lost their parents.”
“How can you still call yourselves family? The sisters are unfortunate to have relatives like you. You clearly stated that they wouldn’t need to support you while you live or bury you when you die. Yet, you still expect Serenity to run even the smallest errands and shamelessly ask for money after seeing her thriving.”
“Serenity, listen to me. Don’t give them a single penny, no matter how wealthy you become. You can lead a good life with your sister and frustrate them. They have been profiting from money gained through your parents’ demise. Just wait and watch karma take its course.”
“The heavens are still watching us from above.”

“Listen here, old man. What goes around comes around; it’s only a matter of time. When your punishment arrives, no one will be there to help you.”

“Get lost, you shameless bastards! Serenity, grab the brooms and mops from the store. I’ll help you chase these shameless old bastards away!”

Serenity and Jasmine acted quickly, with one grabbing a broom and the other a mop.

Chelsea and her mother swiftly took up brooms and mops themselves. They raised their makeshift weapons high and began striking Old Mr. Hunt and his companions. Rather than intimidating them, they were actually beating them. Mrs. Brown relentlessly swung her broom, hitting Old Mr. Hunt in the face despite his advanced age.

The York family’s bodyguards watched the scene unfold with amusement. Although they appeared inactive, they were ready to assist Chelsea and Mrs. Brown whenever an opportunity arose. Because of this, the mother-daughter duo gained the upper hand, effectively driving Old Mr. Hunt and his group away. They only paused to catch their breath after tiring from the chase.

After a while, they returned with their makeshift weapons in hand.

“Serenity, if they ever bully you again or try to use their seniority to demand something from you, just call me. I’ll come over and help you chase them all out!” Chelsea declared fiercely as she re-entered and returned the broom to Serenity.

Serenity poured a glass of warm water for Chelsea and Mrs. Brown. “Have some water, Chelsea, Mrs. Brown. Thank you for getting rid of them for me.”

She felt no fear regarding her family members. However, having someone stand up for her and drive away those wicked individuals brought her both happiness and relief.

“Extreme people must be dealt with by others of the same caliber,” she thought.

“Their car hasn’t left yet,” Chelsea remarked. “Get me a knife.”

“Serenity. I’m going to slash his car’s tires.”

Serenity was on the verge of laughing.

Last time, she had punctured all four tires of John’s car and arranged for it to be towed away.

Yet, John had driven it back today, seemingly oblivious to the lesson he should have learned.

“Forget it. I’ll handle it myself. There’s a knife in the kitchen, right?” Chelsea declared as she headed into the kitchen.

Moments later, she emerged wielding a sharp knife, looking quite fierce.
