Married at First Sight Chapter 1190

Chapter 1190
Grandma May only murmured for a moment before dropping the subject.
“Babe, could you ask Mrs. Lane to drive the car you gave me for Valentine’s Day? It’s quite inconvenient to go out without one,” Serenity suggested.
“Sure thing,” Zachary replied with a smile.
He had finally given his wife a Valentine’s gift.
Grandma May then said to Serenity, “Seren, this is how it should be. Your man earns money for you to spend, so don’t hesitate to spend as much as you like. The more you spend, the happier he’ll be, and the more motivated he’ll be to earn even more. If you don’t spend enough, the money he makes will just be a series of numbers to him. He won’t feel anything or find satisfaction in it.”
Serenity smiled and replied, “Nana, I’m not lacking money to spend.”
Zachary frequently transferred funds to her card for her daily expenses.
She had nearly exhausted her savings, yet she found it impossible to spend all of Zachary’s money.
Moreover, she wasn’t a frivolous spender.
Everything she wore was provided by Zachary.
Now, even her skincare and makeup were purchased by him.
When Serenity went shopping, she often found herself unsure of what to buy, as she didn’t currently need anything.
“Nana, I wanted to give Seren my entire fortune, but she wouldn’t accept it.”
Grandma May called Serenity foolish, saying that if she accepted Zachary’s wealth, she would become the richest woman in Wiltspoon. Why bother running a bookstore or investing? She should simply take everything from Zachary.
Zachary was at a loss for words.
After breakfast, Zachary and Serenity headed to All You Can Eat to pick up Sonny. Afterward, Zachary dropped his wife off at the bookstore before going to work.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Newman was angrily pointing and cursing at

Camryn was in her villa. Despite her mother’s remarks, she calmly finished her toast and cereal, then cleaned the table and washed the dishes in the kitchen. Her breakfast had always been quite simple, consisting solely of toast and cereal. Although the Newmans employed a cook, the nutritious meals prepared by the cook were irrelevant to Camryn. She was grateful to receive just toast and cereal. Due to her inability to see, she could not prepare food for herself, so she accepted whatever was provided without any choices.

“Useless trash. All you do is eat and drink while your sister suffers. You’re not worried or anxious at all, yet you eat and sleep well. Why did I give birth to a heartless daughter like you? I might as well have strangled you at birth,” Mrs. Newman lamented, clearly in a bad mood. Since her beloved daughter had been detained, she was heartbroken and unable to sleep all night. A lack of sleep naturally led to a sour disposition, which Mrs. Newman directed at Camryn.

“Sweetheart,” Mr. Newman interjected, putting down his fork and knife. “You’ve been scolding her all morning. You may not be tired from it, but I’m exhausted from listening. This isn’t Camryn’s fault, so why are you taking it out on her?”

“How can it not involve her? If it weren’t for her, would Carrie and that woman from the Hunts be at odds? Would Carrie have acted that way? This is all because of her!” Mrs. Newman retorted.

After finishing the dishes, Camryn quietly walked out and faced Mr. Newman. She said flatly, “Uncle, I’m going to the store.”

Mr. Newman nodded and replied, “Go ahead. Let the driver take you; it’s raining.”

“Outside.”

“A driver? She has always gone to the store by herself. She’s not allowed to be dropped off!”

Mrs. Newman prohibited Camryn from using the family’s driver.

Camryn remained silent. She retrieved her walking stick and picked up an umbrella from their storage place. Quietly, she stepped outside the house.

Having lived in this villa for over 20 years, she was familiar with her surroundings, navigating them effortlessly despite her blindness.

“Damn that blind girl. Why isn’t she the one in trouble?”

Mrs. Newman muttered another curse after Camryn had left.
