Married at First Sight Chapter 1177

Chapter 1177
Everyone in Wiltspoon knew that Zachary was deeply in love with his wife.
If anything were to happen to Serenity, it would be the end for Zachary.
“Do you think Mrs. Newman is involved?” Serenity’s initial suspicion fell on Mrs. Newman.
After a moment of silence, Zachary replied, “I can’t say for certain, but I instructed Josh to keep an eye on Mr. and Mrs. Newman after your altercation with Ms. Carrie. So far, there’s been no unusual activity from them.”
“Seren, we can only determine if the mastermind is targeting you or me through an investigation.”
Zachary set Sonny down beside him and wrapped his arms around Serenity, holding her tightly. He vowed earnestly, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here for you. I won’t allow anyone to harm you.”
Serenity lifted her chin and looked into his eyes with concern. “If they’re after you… you need to be careful, Zachary.”
“Unfortunately, my position tends to attract danger. I’m accustomed to it. Don’t worry; I’ll be alright.”
The York family kept their descendants sheltered from the outside world until they were ready to step into the business realm. The world remained unaware of their identities.
The purpose of this was to protect the York boys from malicious intent.
From a young age, the York boys learned self-defense to strengthen their bodies and protect themselves.
While they would never go without their bodyguards, there was still a slight chance they could find themselves alone and needing to defend themselves.
Serenity rested her head against his chest. “I hope this is just an accident and nothing more.”
If it were merely an accident, they could consider themselves unfortunate victims of potential kidnappers.
However, if a mastermind were involved, they could expect continuous incidents.
“Today was quite chaotic. Even if it was a…

“The mastermind wouldn’t attempt anything this soon,” she mused.

Sonny, feeling neglected by his aunt and uncle, nudged Serenity away from Zachary. Confused, Serenity straightened up as the boy climbed onto Zachary’s lap and settled himself there.

Leaning back, Sonny rested against Zachary’s chest, appearing quite relaxed.

Serenity was left speechless.

Her nephew was vying for her man’s attention!

“Sonny,” Zachary said, relaxing his facial muscles as he leaned down to kiss Sonny on the cheek. He gently asked, “Do you want to learn to fight, Sonny?”

“What do you mean, Uncle Zack?” Sonny replied, puzzled.

“Have you seen your aunt take on the bad guys? Don’t you think she’s amazing? She learned to fight them off.”

Although Sonny had never witnessed Serenity in a fistfight, he did remember seeing her kick a stranger who tried to grab him. At that moment, he had thought his aunt was the coolest person in the world.

He nodded enthusiastically. “I want to be a fighter like Aunt Ser, Uncle Zack. I want to learn to fight.”

Zachary smiled affectionately. “How about I hire a teacher to train you? But it won’t be easy. You can’t cry when it gets tough.”

“He can take lessons at schools,” Serenity suggested. “There are gyms everywhere.”

Sonny earnestly declared, “I won’t cry, Uncle Zack. I want to be as good as Aunt Ser.”

Zachary smiled again. “Okay. I’ll find you a teacher for one-on-one sessions. The lessons won’t interfere with your school in September.”

He then added to Serenity, “The gyms are great for a solid workout, but it’ll take a while before he reaches your level. You have the skills to take down thugs, but you’re no match for the real professionals.”

“The boys in my family got…

Insights from experts suggest that Sonny would gain more from one-on-one sessions rather than a gym environment. However, this may prove challenging. I’m uncertain if Sonny can endure the difficulties involved.
