Married at First Sight Chapter 1111

Chapter 1111
“They can resort to every dirty trick imaginable, but we won’t change our minds about taking them to court. We will only claim what is rightfully ours and nothing more,” Serenity stated firmly.
Though not heartless, she felt no compassion for her greedy relatives when it came to her finances.
It would take Serenity a lifetime to heal from the wounds of her childhood.
“Absolutely. They can talk and fabricate stories as much as they like. We’ll pursue the legal route, ensuring a fair game for both them and us,” she added.
Elisa remarked, “I’ve never encountered anyone more shameless than them. Are you certain your father is truly related to them, Seren?”
“I believe so. My father bore a striking resemblance to his father. They are simply playing favorites… This often happens with parents—they dote on the oldest and youngest children while the middle child tends to be overlooked.”
“If they defend themselves in court by claiming that my father isn’t their child, I will request a DNA test. The results will confirm the blood relationship,” Serenity continued.
“If they refuse to undergo the DNA test, it will only indicate that they are lying and have something to conceal.”
Thanks to modern medical technology, a DNA test can establish familial connections.
The rumors spread by Old Mr. and Mrs. Hunt would only serve to make them a laughingstock in town.
Everyone hailed from the same town, and the older generation was still present when Serenity’s father was born; they wouldn’t be blind to the truth.
Similarly, regarding Serenity’s mother, the residents of Lisa’s hometown may not remember her well, but they were aware that she had been adopted.
“As you pointed out, they’re spreading rumors to manipulate you into believing you shouldn’t fight for the property because you’re not related to them.”
Elisa and Jasmine shared the same sentiment.

The Hunts’ ability to distort the truth was all too familiar to them.

“It’s great that you girls are aware of it,” Elisa added. “The project we’re investing in is underway, but I’ll appoint someone to represent us and manage it. You’ll be the first to know if anything changes.”

“Thank you, Elisa.”

“Don’t mention it. We’re best friends and cousins, so there’s no need for formalities. We’re closer than that. By the way, are you using a different skincare product? I don’t think it’s the brand I gave you; you smell different.”

Elisa was well-acquainted with her favorite skincare products and had not noticed the change at first, but now it struck her. That was why she asked. She was also trying to shift the topic to prevent Serenity from thanking her repeatedly.

“Yeah, I’ve noticed a different scent on you too.”

Jasmine cheerfully inquired, “Are you using the skincare products Mr. York gave you?”

“You make it sound like Mr. Bucham doesn’t give you anything. Honestly, Mr. Bucham is more attentive and romantic than my boyfriend; I’d call mine a blockhead. He just doesn’t pick up on hints—he needs direct orders.”

“He gave me several collections of skincare products and said I can only use the ones he bought me. Isn’t that domineering? He wants to control every aspect of my life,” she lamented.

Elisa and Jasmine chimed in unison, “You should be grateful! He spoils you, and here you are complaining. You don’t realize how lucky you are.”

While Zachary might not have known much about romance or expressed himself sensually, anyone could see his love and concern for Serenity from afar.

Elisa understood better than anyone how much Zachary had changed for Serenity. God knew how many women in Wiltspoon envied her.
