Chapter 1108
Zachary hummed in acknowledgment. Noticing Callum holding a cactus, he inquired, “Did you buy that?”
“Yeah, I stopped by Spring Blossoms before work.”
“Spring Blossoms?” Zachary found the name somewhat familiar, recalling that he had heard it from his beloved wife.
Callum did not conceal the truth and replied honestly, “It’s Ms. Camryn’s flower shop. The name is rather unoriginal.”
Zachary commented mildly, “Flowers bloom in the spring.”
Callum was taken aback.
“Since you went all the way there, why didn’t you buy more potted plants?”
Callum pouted and explained, “I didn’t go there to buy flowers. I got this cactus out of necessity.”
He couldn’t just leave empty-handed after causing her to prick her hand on the thorns.
“Wouldn’t a ball cactus look nicer next to your desk? Regular cacti have longer thorns, so be careful not to get pricked.”
Zachary made a few casual remarks before entering the office building, leaving his brother behind as he headed upstairs first.

Callum sensed that Zachary had figured out what had transpired, which was why he suggested that a ball cactus would be a better choice.
A few minutes later, Callum sat at his desk, staring at the cactus for an extended period. He then pulled out Camryn’s business card from his trouser pocket and called her using his office phone.
When Camryn answered, he asked, “Ms. Newman, do you remember me?”
Camryn, known for her good memory, smiled and asked, “Are you the gentleman who just bought the cactus earlier?”
“Yes, it seems you do.”
Camryn thought to herself, ‘You made me prick myself with the cactus. How could I possibly forget you?’ However, she maintained her smile.
