Hades

Alec opened the door for me, and I stepped out of the car. The night air was cool against my skin. I removed my jacket, already halfway inside the house.

“You have an important meeting tomorrow,” Alec said from behind me. “Make sure you wake up early.”

A smirk tugged at my lips. Without turning around, I lifted one hand and waved it dismissively in the air. “You can stop keeping tabs on me now, Alec,” I said lazily. “I’m married.”

“What?”

I took a step forward, already reaching for the front steps. “I have a wife now,” I added, unable to hide the smugness in my voice. “She’ll do that for me.”

I didn’t need to see his face to imagine it, the eye roll, the long-suffering look. I’d been talking about Violet all day. Every spare moment my mind wandered back to her, and every time it did, I felt proud, and possessive.

He sighed. “Alright, see you tomorrow, Mr. Hades.”

I nodded, already done with the conversation, and headed toward the house. One hand rose to my tie as I walked, fingers tugging at the knot to loosen it. I just wanted to get inside and see her.

I reached the door and lifted my hand to open it, but it swung open first.

I froze. My fingers went still on my tie as my eyes lifted, and everything inside me went silent.

Violet was smiling up at me, a wide, excited smile that made her eyes shine. Those damn puppy eyes stared at me with pure enthusiasm, completely unaware of the effect they had on me. Or maybe she did know. Judging by what she was wearing, she knew exactly what she was doing.

My gaze dragged down her slowly, unashamed.

She was dressed in a thin, see-through dress, the fabric barely there, clinging to her body. I could see everything

underneath. The white lingerie stood out against her skin, a delicate bra and matching panties meant to hide nothing. Every curve, line, and soft detail was right there in front of me.

And to make it worse, she had bunny ears perched on her head. I wasn’t a fool; I knew exactly what she was wearing.

A bunny costume.

I exhaled slowly through my nose, jaw tightening.

Fuck.

My tongue slid over my lower lip as my hand dropped from my tie. In two steps, I was in front of her. I pushed her inside, pressing her back against the wall. One hand came up, bracing above her head as I leaned in, the other sliding to her waist, my fingers curling around her possessively.

God, she smelled so fucking good.

My blue eyes darkened as they met hers, the playful smirk gone, replaced by something hungrier. I lowered my head and pressed myself against her, just enough for her to feel me there, to understand exactly what she was doing to me, and how hard I’d gotten from nothing more than her existence.

“Fuck, I’m already hard,” I muttered, my voice low. “Do you want me to lose my mind, princess?”

Violet’s face flushed instantly at my words. I felt her breath stutter against me before her gaze lifted to meet mine.

I slid a finger under her chin and tilted her face up so she couldn’t look away. “Answer my question, Violet.” I rasped. “Do you love it when I lose my mind because of you?”

I waited for the familiar deflection, the soft tone she used whenever she felt vulnerable. But she didn’t give me that. Instead, she bit her lip seductively.

“Yes.”

I raised a brow, but she didn’t falter. She held my gaze like she wanted to burn me alive.

“Yes, daddy. I want you to lose your mind because of me. I love it when I’m the only one you think about.”

For a moment, everything in me simply stopped. I didn’t expect her to say that, she wasn’t the type to be direct. She didn’t even give me a chance to recover; Violet leaned in closer, her lips brushing mine as she whispered, “So lose your mind for me, husband.”

She kissed me.

Fucking hell. This woman.

A shiver tore down my spine, heat punching straight through me as my pulse hammered against my ribs. I pulled back just enough to look at her, and something deep and possessive snapped loose inside me.

A slow, dark smile curved across my lips. “Violet Sinclair, you’re mine to ruin.”

I crushed my mouth against hers again, kissing her deeper, until she moaned against my lips. She wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me in like she needed me closer, and I slid my hands down her waist, feeling the way she trembled under my touch.

I tilted my head, deepening the kiss until she melted against me completely.

I grabbed her by the ass and lifted her in one smooth motion. Her breath hitched, her legs wrapping tightly around my waist as if it were instinct. I didn’t stop kissing her as I carried her upstairs, her lips were too warm, and addictive, and she kept giving these soft, desperate little sounds that made me want to tear the world apart for her.

When we reached the bedroom, I kicked the door open and kept walking until my knees hit the edge of the bed. I lowered her onto the mattress slowly, still pressing my lips to hers, her fingers tangled in my hair. Only when she finally drew in a sharp gasp for air did I let her breathe.

I drew back just enough to see her clearly. She lay there with her chest rising fast, her face flushed and lips swollen, her nightdress slipped off one shoulder, exposing the delicate line of lingerie underneath. Her hair spread across the pillow, messy from my hands, and every inch of her looked like temptation.

Without looking away from me, she slipped the thin dress off her shoulders. The fabric fell to the floor, leaving her in nothing but the lingerie beneath. She looked breathtaking, the curve of her hips, the swell of her breasts, the way the lace framed her perfectly. It was impossible not to be completely consumed by her.

She caught the way I looked at her, and her face flamed red. “W-what do you think?”

Her fingers grazed the delicate edge of the lingerie. “The woman who sold it said, any man would like it. I don’t know,” she admitted, her eyes lifting to mine. “Do you like it?”

“Any man?” I growled, tracing her collarbone with a slow fingertip, down the center of her chest, over the swell of her breasts, savoring the shiver that ran through her at every touch. My fingers lingered where the lace barely covered her skin. She was already trembling, anticipation and desire flickering in her doe eyes.

When my hand reached her thigh, I closed it around her, lifting her leg effortlessly. Her breath hitched sharply, and I held

her there, opening her to me, keeping my eyes locked on hers. “I’m not just any man, princess. You didn’t wear this for any man, only for me. Is that clear?”

I didn’t let her answer, my lips brushing the thin fabric between her legs, just over the lace. I pressed my mouth against it, letting her feel me explore her without taking everything at once.

“Oh my God!” Violet shuddered, her hands gripping the edge of the bed for balance, and I could feel her muscles tense.

“Wearing a bunny costume to seduce me,” I murmured, biting the skin just below her hip, letting her flinch against me, “it’s like you’re willingly offering yourself to be ruined until you can’t walk anymore.”

“I” she began, but stopped herself. Her hand moved to the bedside drawer, opening it to pull out a small black box. My curiosity peaked, my eyes following her every movement.

When she lifted the lid, I froze.

Inside the box was a white collar, perfectly matched to the bunny outfit she wore. She held it up, offering it to me, her eyes locking with mine.

“I am. I’m offering myself to you. Will you put it on me, daddy?”
