The Throne of Thorns Novel Chapter 532

Wings of Broken Time by Alina Das 532

Livia paused, then said, “I understand. I’ll be careful. I know you want to take down the Lincoln family, so I’ll do what I can to find evidence

against him for you.”

“I’ll handle the evidence,” Larissa replied. “Just focus on staying safe.”

“Okay.”

For the first time in a long time, Livia felt a warmth spread through her chest. It had been years since anyone had shown her genuine concern. And now, it was coming from a woman she had only recently met.

Back in the chairman’s office at Gale Entertainment, only Damon and his son, Theon, remained.

“Dad,” Theon said, his expression serious, “about the lead for ‘Soaring High‘… we can’t go with Rigby, like my sister suggested.”

Damon looked at his son in surprise. He hadn’t expected him to have such a strong opinion on casting.

“Why not? Are you just trying to oppose your sister for the sake of it?”

“Of course not, Dad,” Theon said smoothly. “I’m not that petty. But my sister came all this way just to push for Rigby. Something isn’t right. I’m worried she might have a personal interest in him. If they get involved during filming and Mr. Lincoln finds out, we’ll be in serious trouble. I’m only thinking of what’s best for the company.”

Damon nodded thoughtfully. His son had a point. Their partnership with the Lincolns was crucial. If a casting choice jeopardized Livia’s marriage, the consequences would be severe.

“You’re right,” Damon conceded. “We can’t risk upsetting Mr. Lincoln, not now. The marriage has to go through.”

He paused, thinking.

“Do this: run a background check on Rigby. Dig into his reputation. If there’s anything problematic, we’ll find another lead.”

Gale Entertainment was running on fumes, coasting on its past glory. While still a major player in Regal City, it was struggling to keep up with newer, more agile companies. The backing of the Lincoln family–their capital and their connections–was essential for their survival and

growth.

“I’ll get right on it,” Theon promised.

Damon smiled, satisfied. “Theon, you’ve grown up. I feel confident leaving the company in your hands.”

“I won’t let you down, Dad,” Theon replied.

Damon leaned back, a sense of accomplishment washing over him. Soon, his daughter would be married to Lucius Lincoln, and his son would be running the company. His life would be complete.

After hanging up with Livia, Larissa leaned back in her chair and called

Nightveil.

“I need you to dig up everything you can on Damon Tyson, the chairman of Gale Entertainment, and his illegitimate son, Theon Tyson. I want something that will ruin them completely.”

“Understood, boss.”

Larissa tossed her phone onto the desk and closed her eyes, letting the

silence settle around her.

“Buzz. Buzz.”

Her phone vibrated. She waited a few minutes before opening her eyes and checking the screen.

Chapter 532

Another message from Leopold.

[Larissa, Gale Entertainment is willing to pay my buyout fee. They believe

I can be a star. I’m asking you one last time: are you sure you won’t forgive me and let me prove my worth at Starlight Media?]

Larissa smirked and typed back: [Congratulations on jumping into a dumpster fire.]
