Chapter 425
In the video, Lucius looked lost in a haze of ecstasy, his expression a mix of pleasure and pain, his lips parted as low, sensual sounds escaped them. It wasn’t just his face; the body: and voice were identical to his own.
Lucius couldn’t believe his eyes.
Why was he the one with Jagger? Why not Larissa? Did Damon dare to defy him? No, he wouldn’t have the guts.
Listening to the salacious sounds from the video, Milton and the others swallowed hard.
Lucius shot to his feet, his face a mask of fury. “Turn that off!” he snarled, his voice dangerously cold. “All of you. No one watches it!”
His lackeys scrambled to lock their phones and shove them into their pockets, barely daring to breathe. Though, in truth, they all desperately wanted to keep watching.
Livia could barely contain her glee. The conclusion was obvious: the video had been altered.
And by whom? Larissa, of course.
In that moment, Livia was thoroughly convinced that Larissa had the power to take Lucius down. In Regal City, only Haskell had ever been able to make Lucius stumble. Now, there was another: the underdog no one had taken seriously.
“Get the hell out of here!” Lucius roared, his voice echoing in the silent room. “If I find out any of you watched this video behind my back, I’ll make you regret it!”
The thunderous command sent a tremor of fear through Milton and the others. They practically fell over each other in their haste to exit the VIP room, terrified of getting caught in the crossfire of Lucius’s rage.
Livia, rejoicing internally, saw her chance and rose to leave, eager to find a private place where she could finally burst into laughter.
But just as she was about to slip away, Lucius’s icy voice stopped her in her tracks.
“Livia, stay. Who said you could leave? Call your father. Now.”
She cursed silently but didn’t dare disobey. Sinking back onto the sofa, she reluctantly pulled out her phone and dialed her father’s number.
The moment the call connected, Lucius snatched the phone from her hand.
“Damon Tyson,” he said, his voice dripping with venom. “Is this how you handle the tasks I give you?”
On the other end of the line, Damon’s heart was pounding in his chest. Just minutes earlier,

Chapter 425
he had received a frantic call from his secretary informing him that the video–the one that was supposed to feature Larissa’s face deepfaked onto a courtesan’s body–had somehow been released with Lucius’s face instead. Even more bizarrely, it wasn’t just the face that had been replaced; the entire physique had been altered to match Lucius’s. It was like something out of a nightmare.
“Mr. Lincoln…” Damon stammered, his voice trembling. “The Al specialist… he said he has no idea what happened. He swears he swapped in Larissa’s face and even double–checked it before release. He doesn’t know how…”
“Is that your explanation? You don’t know?” Lucius’s voice was a low, furious growl. “Are the people on your payroll incompetent fools? How could you let someone tamper with the video at the last second?”
“Mr. Lincoln, please, calm down,” Damon pleaded, his words tumbling out in a panic. “I’ll… I’ll fire the specialist immediately…”
“Take down the trending topics and scrub every copy of that video from the internet, now! Or I won’t hesitate to make sure Gale Entertainment goes under before Starlight Media does!” With that final, brutal threat, Lucius slammed the phone down, tossing it back onto the sofa. He noticed Livia staring at him with a wounded expression. Taking a deep breath to rein in his volcanic anger, he tried to explain. “Don’t get the wrong idea. There’s nothing going on between me and my uncle. That man in the video wasn’t me. It was a deepfake.”
Livia feigned surprise. “Lucius, are you just saying that to spare my feelings? It’s a weak excuse. Who could possibly have the skill to create a fake that looks so much like you?”
