The Throne of Thorns Novel Chapter 365

Wings of Broken Time by Alina Das 365

Kiernan glanced at her. “When you married into the Lincoln family, I gave you twenty million dollars and set you up with a social media agency as your wedding gift. But you couldn’t be bothered to run it properly. All you cared about was enjoying your lavish lifestyle, and the company went bankrupt. Who is to blame for that?”

Josette’s face twisted in resentment. “Dad, are you insane? Paxton messes up and gets nothing. I can understand that. But I’m your daughter! All I get is that measly wedding gift?

“What else did you expect?” Kiernan shot back. “I raised you, provided for you, and let you live in luxury for years. But you’ve never contributed a single thing to this family, only ever thinking of your own pleasure. What more do you think you deserve?”

Josette was now seething. “Fine! You’re a cruel man, Dad! If you can treat your own daughter like this, then don’t blame me for being heartless. When you die, I won’t even come to your funeral!”

“If I had to rely on you for anything,” Kiernan said, unfazed by her threat, “I wouldn’t have to wait until I’m dead to be disappointed.”

Josette gritted her teeth. “Good. You said it yourself. Since you’re so heartless, I’m disowning you as my father! I will never set foot in this house again to see you! Let’s see how much you regret handing everything over to Larissa!”

If she wasn’t getting any of the family fortune, what was the point of having a father?

Kiernan, who loathed being threatened by his own family, hardened his expression. “I don’t care. Cut ties if you want. I have no need for a daughter like you.”

At that moment, Larissa spoke with unwavering confidence. “Don’t worry, Grandpa. You won’t regret this. I will make the Judson family stronger than ever–strong enough to push the Lincolns aside.” Hearing Larissa boast about crushing her family right in front of her, Helena’s stomach churned with anger. “Such arrogance from a little girl who doesn’t know her place.”

“When I said I would strip Paxton’s family of everything they had, they also thought it was an impossible dream,” Larissa said with a smile. “But as you can see, I did it. And Helena, you heard it. I’m the head of the Judson family now. So if you expect me to apologize to your useless son, you can forget it.”

Helena snorted. “The Judson family is certainly something else! I’ll enjoy watching you fall.”

As Helena turned to leave, Jagger asked, frustrated, “Mom, are we really just going to walk away?”

She shot him a look. “What do you suggest? You want to attack her now?”

Jagger scanned the room. The Palmers and the Turners were all on Larissa’s side. Not to mention the swarm of venomous creatures at her command. He didn’t dare make a move and could only swallow his anger.

Seeing her son remain silent, Helena said to her grandson, “Lucius, let’s go.”

Lucius nodded, his gaze lingering on Haskell and Larissa. He had seen enough for one day. The true heiress of the Judson family was, without a doubt, a formidable woman. It was no wonder Haskell

was so taken with her.

With his purpose for being there fulfilled, Lucius rose and supported Helena as they left the villa. Jagger and Josette followed resentfully behind them.

Once the Lincolns were gone, Larissa said lightly, “One problem down. Now, on to the next.”
