The Throne of Thorns Novel Chapter 326

Wings of Broken Time by Alina Das 326

Chapter 326

At the end of the ecleenshots, Avril sent a TERRAGA

(Larissa, Torrin really thinks he’s talking to you, so you don’t have to worry about him bothering you anymore!)

Lantess replied You have my thanks for putting up with him.)

Avril Ne problem. It’s actually kind of fun. When I’m annoyed, I can just use him as a punching bag!)

After finishing her chat with Avril and eating breakfast, Larissa headed to her herb garden. To her surprise, Finley was standing there, his hair damp with morning mist, a sign he had been waiting for some time.

When he saw her, he spoke immediately. “Larissa, back when I was helping you clear this garden, you said I did a good job. If there’s anything you need help with here, just let me know..”

Larissa’s eyes were full of disdain.

“Could you really not tell I was just messing with you back then?” she said coldly. “Of course you knew. But now you’re desperate to live, so you’re willing to throw away what little dignity you have left. Did the poison act up last night? Was it unbearable?”

Finley must have spent the whole night preparing himself, because instead of showing humiliation, he managed a humble smile.

“The poison… was agony. Last night, I almost couldn’t take it. I thought about just ending it all. But then I remembered all the things I did to you, and I knew I couldn’t die without making amends.”

Larissa was disgusted. “Finley, you’re just afraid to die. Don’t you dare dress it up as some noble quest for redemption,” she sneered. “I told you, you have one chance to talk me into giving you the antidote. If you can convince me, that’s on you. But right now, it looks like you’re wasting it.”

The poison she had given him wasn’t lethal. It would, however, periodically cause such excruciating pain that the victim would rather kill themselves than endure it.

If Finley died, it wouldn’t be from the poison itself, but by his own hand. That way, Larissa couldn’t be considered a murderer, and Paxton and Vivica would have no grounds to come after her.

Her words didn’t frighten him. He looked her straight in the eye, his voice firm. “After the agony of last night, my mind is clear. Larissa, whether you believe me or not, I will prove to you that I truly know I was wrong and that I want to make up for it, even if it costs me my life.”

Larissa let out a derisive laugh. “You’re so dramatic, I’m almost moved. Fine, Finley, I’ll give you one last chance to get the antidote.”

She walked toward him and held out her hand. “Unlock your phone and give it to me.”

Though confused, Finley did as she asked, handing over his unlocked phone.

Larissa scrolled through his contacts, found the number labeled “Honora,” and dialed. The call connected, and Honora’s soft voice came through the speaker.

“Finley? What’s wrong?”

Larissa looked up at Finley, a sly smile on her face. “Finley, I can cure the poison for one of you. You or Honora. You have to choose.”
