Sophia touched Abril’s forehead, and Abril felt as if she were being pulled. Suddenly, she found herself in her father’s palace, specifically in the throne room, the last place she had seen him.
Vritra was sitting on his throne with a bored expression on his face while watching a brutal scene. Countless corpses were scattered on the floor, and upon seeing all the blood, Abril froze, unable to move. She closed her eyes tightly, wishing to wake up and for the scene her mother was showing her to disappear. However, it didn’t. When she opened her eyes again, the greeted her.
“I don’t want to be here, mother.”
“I know, but you must stay here a little longer, look closely.”

Abril forced herself to look and saw dark shadows entering the bodies among the corpses. All the wounds closed, and the corpses stood up, the darkness having entered them and using them as
puppets.
“Why are you showing me this, mother?”
“Do you see all these men?”
Abril glanced quickly at them. Although she didn’t recognize any of them, she realized by their
clothes that they were the strategists and generals of the kingdom of Laios.
