Congrats Hubby! Your $1M V-Card Deal Came with Free HIV 1
Chapter 1
“Celeste, I’m buying Ivy’s v-card for a million. She’s my childhood sweetheart and she’s dying! I have to help her!”
I tried to stop him, but Tristan shut me down hard.
“Ivy’s always been proud. Cash would hurt her ego.”
“Can you stop being dramatic? She has cancer, and this is LIFE OR DEATH.”
“God, why are you so petty, so heartless!”
I didn’t argue.
I just smiled and nodded.
Sure, babe-you can fuck her raw anyway.
What Tristan didn’t know?
I’m an infectious disease doctor, and I’d already seen Ivy’s labs.
She didn’t have cancer.
She had late-stage HIV.
Congrats, hubby! Your $1M V-card came with free HIV.
Tristan rolled in past midnight.
He casually pulled off his shirt, exposing scratches all over his back.
I froze, standing there in silence.
He spoke first. “Ivy’s a virgin. Of course she got a little rough. It’s normal.”
My nails dug into my palms.
I cracked. “Did you at least use protection?”
He shook his head, calm as hell.

Chapter 1
“She took the pill. Stop worrying about shit that doesn’t concern you.”
That was when my last thread of hope snapped.
Right then, his phone rang.
Ivy Sinclair. Crying.
“Tristan, I’m bleeding so much. I’m scared…”
He panicked instantly.
“Don’t worry, I’m coming right now. Ten minutes.”
Even though I was dying inside, I tried to stop him and tell him the truth about Ivy’s condition.
He shoved my hand off, annoyed.
“I already told you this was just to help her. If she and I were actually a thing, why would I tell you at first?”
He shot me a cold look, threw on his clothes, headed for the door.
Before leaving, he tossed back one last line.
“Wash my clothes and boxers. There’s blood on them. They’ll stain.”
The door slammed shut.
After he left, I stared at our wedding photo on the wall.
All these years, I built his empire with him from nothing.
From that shoebox apartment to this luxury penthouse downtown.
Every struggle. Every sacrifice. I remembered it all.
Tristan used to be a decent husband.
When his startup finally made money, first thing he did was throw me a wedding.
Even got me a custom ring-small diamond with a crack in it.
I loved it anyway.
And this same man-the “good husband” everyone praised-just did the most disgusting thing imaginable.

Chapter 1
Without protection, infection rate after high-risk exposure is nearly 100%.
I was furious. But I couldn’t just let him die.
He still had seventy-two hours.
If he took PEP now, he could still block the infection.
I was just about to call and warn him—
When Ivy’s new post popped up on my feed.
“Thought married men usually hold back? Someone clearly… went all out.”
Photo showed her neck covered in bite marks.
She was complaining. But really? She was bragging.
Then I saw it, the ring on her finger.
Same style as mine. Same design.
Except hers had a bigger diamond, flawless.
My hands shook as I checked the serial number inside my ring and called the jeweler.
The rep was polite.
“Yes, Mr. Blackwell did order a ring from us. But the first batch had defects, so we remade it. Ms. Sinclair, is there something wrong with yours?”
I forced myself to stay calm. “No. It’s fine. Thanks.”
So this ring-my wedding ring-was made for Ivy from the start.
I just got the reject defective leftover.
I felt like someone was choking me.
Couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think.
Just as everything went numb, Tristan suddenly called.
Panic in his voice. “Babe, Ivy’s got all these red spots. And her lymph nodes are swollen. What does that mean?”

Chapter 1
“You’re a doctor-does she need to get tested?”
I knew exactly what it meant.
After getting infected, she hadn’t taken meds to control the viral load at all.
Based on his description, this wasn’t just late-stage HIV.
She probably had syphilis too.
On the other end, Tristan kept pushing.
“Babe, say something. What do I do?”
I bit down hard and answered calmly.
“Probably just complications. She’ll be fine in a few days.”
I hung up.
Outside, the night was thick and dark.
I put on gloves, carefully gathered all of Tristan’s clothes.
Then walked to the balcony and burned every single piece.
I knew he was already infected. Just a matter of time.
Living under the same roof as him, one wrong move and I’d be next.
To avoid tipping him off, all I could do was keep my distance now.
