I Cancel the Engagement and Level Way Up 96

Chapter 96

Logan’s face went cold as he strode straight up to Sloane. He grabbed her wrist hard, not caring that she was pregnant, his grip rough and unforgiving.

“Who told you to come? Get out now!”

The yank threw Sloane off balance, and the bulky wedding dress made her fall to the floor.

The guests‘ gossipy looks and Logan’s sudden rage left her so tense she could barely think.

She didn’t care who was watching. She burst into tears on the floor.

Logan’s expression stayed dark. He seized her arm and started dragging her toward the door.

Diana rushed over to stop him. “Logan! Sloane’s carrying your baby! If you’re this rough, you’re going to hurt the baby!”

Logan’s face darkened even more. He shoved Diana aside and snapped, “You get out too!”

Diana yelped and fell to the floor.

Relatives from the Whitfield family hurried over to help Diana up. They pulled Sloane off to the side as well, afraid Logan might lose control and do something unforgivable.

Logan stared at the chaos in front of him. His head felt like it was about to explode.

He searched the crowd frantically for Vivian. He noticed Zane hadn’t shown up either.

Diana didn’t have Zane’s contact information. And Zane didn’t know Diana had come into the

city.

Only Sloane had Zane’s number. The two of them were relatives from the Mercer family.

Hatred flashed in Logan’s eyes as he glared at Sloane, hiding behind the Whitfield relatives.

“Where’s Vivian? Where did you hide her?” he asked.

It had to be them. They had to have hidden Vivian, or she wouldn’t have missed the wedding.

He refused to believe Vivian would leave him.

She didn’t have any family left. She only had him.

Logan had never treated Sloane like this before. She was so terrified she could only cry harder, shaking her head in panic and insisting it had nothing to do with her.

In the middle of the commotion, the screen by the stage lit

A clip from a dashcam started playing.

In the clear footage, Logan had Sloane in his arms, kissing her like he couldn’t get enough.

When the video ended, several photos appeared. One of them showed Logan lying with his cheek against Sloane’s belly, and beside it was an enlarged prenatal checkup report.

The room erupted into chatter.

Logan’s face went pale.

The moment he realized Vivian had known all along, his whole body stiffened. Panic and anger flooded his eyes, impossible to hide.

He roared, “Turn it off!”

The screen went dark.

Someone spotted Vivian on the second floor and shouted in shock.

Every head turned toward Vivian.

She leaned against the railing, her slender fingers curled around a wine glass, a faint smile on her lips.

She looked stunning in her black dress, red lipstick striking against her pale skin.

She watched the chaos below like she had nothing to do with it. She even seemed to be in a good mood.

Then, people noticed the white lily pinned to her chest.

She didn’t look like she’d come to a wedding. She looked like she’d come to a funeral.

She was going to bury this wedding with her own hands.

When Diana saw Vivian standing upstairs, calm after creating this disaster, rage rushed straight to her head.

If anyone was going down today, it wouldn’t be just her son.
