I hung up and opened the family group chat. They’d already sent over a hundred messages trashing me. 

I left the chat and blocked all of them. Then I texted my realtor, “Hi, can you list that condo for sale? Thanks.” 

On my first day back at work, I was at my desk when someone burst through the office door.

My stomach dropped and I rushed down to the lobby. Two police officers were waiting for

In the video, they were sobbing their eyes out, claiming I was an ungrateful daughter who’d stolen their retirement savings, taken all the furniture and appliances, and even driven off with their car. They said I’d left them with nothing.
