She got the divorce and bolted 63
Over the past three days, Sienna had sent out her résumé to more than a dozen companies and landed nearly ten interviews. In the end, she received only two offers, neither of which was ideal.
One was from a fairly well–known design firm. The pay and career prospects were attractive, but the position required long- term relocation. With Eleanor still hospitalized, Sienna couldn’t leave for now.
Her other option was to work as an interior design assistant at a small local design studio. The salary was ridiculously low, and overtime was practically part of the company culture. Worse yet, the boss loved to manipulate newcomers by making empty promises. It didn’t look like a decent company at all.
Ever since Clayton had exposed her for using her connections to secure an offer, job hunting had become a minefield for her. She didn’t dare apply to companies that were even slightly subpar, afraid he would catch her again and mock her for it.
Her mood fluctuated, as if she were stuck in a whirlpool, struggling to find a way out.
So, that afternoon, Sienna went to Horizon Film Studios, where Michelle was having a shoot.
The entrance to the studio was packed with people. Fans held up their phones and signs, craning their necks as they waited for their favorite celebrities to show up.

The guard eyed Sienna suspiciously. Clad in a plain khaki coat, she looked cool and calm–nothing like an assistant.
Yet, Michelle had already dragged her inside. She lowered her voice with a grin. “So? How do I look?”
“Pretty good. You seem like a rich young lady,” Sienna replied. Remembering what Michelle had told the guard, she asked, ” What happened to your assistant?”
Michelle’s smile stiffened before turning into a pout. “Well, she bailed. Two days ago, Miles came to visit Melody on set. I was filming at the time, and somehow my assistant pissed him off.
“He went off at her like crazy. She was just a college student doing this as a temporary gig. She cried, quit on the spot, and didn’t even take her pay!”
Sienna frowned. “How could some random assistant piss Miles off? He was probably standing up for Melody by driving your assistant away. Did he target you as well?”
Michelle pretended to brush it off casually. “Me? I’m fine. What can he even do to me? The most he can do is throw a few sarcastic
