Married at First Sight Chapter 1670

Married at First Sight Chapter 1670
Among those around her, Jasmine’s love was the smoothest, free from turmoil, and she soon entered the wedding hall.
Elisa faced numerous challenges in her romantic life and her sister’s second chance at love.
Fortunately, after experiencing conflicts, a cold war, and a divorce with Zachary, she ultimately came to understand, respect, and trust him, leading to their current happiness.
Zachary quickly adjusted his mindset and gently said, “Honey, go to sleep. Don’t overthink things; let nature take its course.”
Serenity hummed in agreement.
The couple embraced and spent the night in silence, drifting off to sleep.
The next day, Duncan woke up around noon.
After a long rest, he woke with only a slight headache, primarily feeling hungry.
Noticing it was already noon, he quickly got up, took a shower, changed into clean clothes, and headed downstairs.
On the stairs, he spotted his parents sitting on the sofa in the lobby below.
Duncan’s mood soured instantly.
Upon hearing footsteps, Mrs. Lewis turned her head and saw her son on the stairs. She said, “Duncan, you’re awake! You must be hungry. You can eat now.”
Duncan descended the stairs, approached them, and sat down opposite his parents. He then coldly asked, “Did you come here to persuade me to give up? If that’s the case, you don’t need to say anything. I won’t give up on Liberty. I love her and want to marry her.”
Mrs. Lewis had intended to have a constructive conversation with her son, but his words infuriated her.
Her expression darkened immediately.
“Duncan, I feel the same way. If you want to be with Liberty, sever your ties with me first. Once you’re no longer my son, you can marry whoever you choose.”
“Wife,” Mr. Lewis interjected, disagreeing with her statement.

Duncan and Mrs. Lewis stared at each other for a long moment before abruptly standing up, turning, and leaving.

“Duncan, where are you going? Are you searching for Liberty again? People don’t like you, so you still have to be bold… Come back to me!”

Without responding, Duncan left, prompting Mrs. Lewis to rise in anger and chase after him.

As she saw Duncan driving out of the garage, Mrs. Lewis attempted to stop him, but her husband held her back.

Duncan drove away from the villa.

Mrs. Lewis quickly ran to her car, and Mr. Lewis reluctantly followed.

Duncan sped ahead, and Mrs. Lewis desperately pursued him, hoping to prevent her son from seeing Liberty again.

The two cars exited the villa area one after the other, soon merging into the bustling traffic on the main road.

Duncan continued to drive fast, overtaking vehicles primarily to shake off his mother.

“Dear, slow down; stop chasing. The roads are crowded and dangerous. If you keep this up, our son could have an accident,” Mr. Lewis urged from the passenger seat. He disapproved of Duncan’s pursuit of Liberty, but knowing his son was 36 and had finally found someone he liked, he thought it best to let him be happy.

“Be quiet, don’t talk…”

Before Mrs. Lewis could finish her sentence, she turned on her hazard lights and slammed on the brakes.

“Bang! Bang!”

There were two loud crashes in quick succession.
