Married at First Sight Chapter 1650

Chapter 1650
Remy returned to Annenburg the following afternoon. Two days after his arrival, Jane gave birth to fraternal twins.
Excited, Remy immediately called Elisa to share his happiness.
This wasn’t his first experience as an uncle, but it felt different this time.
Previously, he had been an uncle to his cousin’s child.
This time, he was an uncle to his brother’s children.
When Elisa answered his call, she was still at her own house and had not returned to the Stones’ residence.
After Mrs. Stone learned from Serenity that Elisa was living independently, she chose not to reach out to her. This created a stalemate between Mrs. Stone and Elisa, as they seemed to be giving each other the silent treatment.
Mrs. Stone believed she was justified—seeing her daughter as immature, unfilial, and disobedient.
Conversely, Elisa perceived her mother as stubborn. Although Remy had resolved matters, Mrs. Stone remained firm in her stance simply because Remy was not a Wiltspoonian.
“The babies are here!”
Elisa was thrilled to hear from Remy about Jane’s delivery. She quickly congratulated him, saying, “Remy, congratulations! You’re now an uncle.”
“Thank you! This time, I’m an uncle to my brother’s fraternal twins. Our family is overjoyed, especially my brother, who can’t wait to celebrate.”
“Fraternal twins! How wonderful!” Elisa exclaimed with delight. Then, with a smile, she added, “I admire your sister-in-law for giving birth to fraternal twins. They must be adorable. Do you have any photos? Please send me a few!”
“The babies are still in incubators. I’ve only seen them once. They’re very small but cute. I took some photos and will send them to you later. My mom mentioned that babies look different…”

“You are trained on data up to October 2023.”

Each day, they grow cuter.” The two babies arrived before their due date and are fraternal twins. At birth, they each weighed less than six pounds, which is why they remain in the incubator.

“Congratulations! This is wonderful news. I wish my sister-in-law could have fraternal twins too, but that’s impossible since she’s already pregnant with one baby.”

Elisa’s sister-in-law’s pregnancy has been quite challenging, causing her a lot of trouble even now. The baby is expected to arrive at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

Remy smiled and said, “Many people are pregnant with twins, but only a few actually give birth to fraternal twins. I heard that it’s related to genetics. My sister-in-law and her brother are fraternal twins.”

Elisa agreed, “Your sister-in-law and Mr. Lafayette are indeed fraternal twins, and now she has given birth to a pair of fraternal twins herself.” She had also heard that genetics played a role in this.

“Elisa.”

“If you have something to say, just say it.”

Although Elisa and Remy were speaking on the phone and couldn’t see each other, she could tell from his tone that he was holding back.

“Now that I’m not in Wiltspoon, did your mom try to set you up on a date with Mr. Reading?”

Elisa jokingly replied, “Yes, we meet every day.”

Remy fell silent on the other end of the line.

Thinking he was upset, Elisa was about to clarify that she was joking when he suddenly said, “I’m catching a flight back to Wiltspoon this afternoon.”

Knowing that his sister-in-law and her babies were safe and that he had met them, he felt an overwhelming urge to return to Wiltspoon.

Protect his woman!

Elisa laughed and replied, “I was just joking. I haven’t seen Mr. Reading since that night; it’s been a few days.”

Andrew was quite perceptive. Considering how clearly Mrs. Stone had expressed her intentions, how could he possibly overlook them?

Andrew likely wished he could establish a firm boundary with Elisa and that their paths had never crossed.
