Married at First Sight Chapter 1595

Chapter 1595
Elisa smiled as she said, “Remy is quite busy today. Aside from sending me flowers and love letters, he only manages to send me a few messages each day.”
“His sister-in-law is about to give birth, so he mentioned that he needs to finish his work quickly and return to Annenburg.”
Serenity replied, “Jane is pregnant with twins. Most twins are born prematurely. She told me she expects to give birth in June, and since it’s now mid-May, it’s almost time.”
When the topic of pregnancy came up, Elisa wanted to ask Serenity if she had any news, but she hesitated and decided against it.
Serenity was currently too busy with work and distracted, leaving her no time to think about pregnancy.
If Elisa brought it up, it would only make Serenity feel sad again.
“I’ll be picking Zachary up from work later, so I can’t join you for lunch,” Serenity said.
Elisa understood and responded, “Oh, okay. Should I go to Remy’s office to pick him up? Seren, how do you think he’ll react when he sees me?”
“He’ll be thrilled!”
Although the two had not officially defined their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, if Elisa took the initiative to visit Remy, it would be seen as a positive signal, and he would undoubtedly be excited.
Before long, Elisa left Serenity’s bookstore.
Serenity decided not to meet Zachary for lunch, feeling his break was too short.
She kept the store open until late in the evening before heading to Spring Blossoms.
Camryn and Callum were also not making much progress.
Callum was pursuing Camryn, but she continued to reject his feelings.
He privately confided in Zachary that it was very difficult to win his wife’s affection.
He envied Zachary and Serenity for obtaining their marriage license upon their first meeting, as Zachary didn’t have to go through the same struggles.

to pursue Serenity. Zachary found it amusing. He recalled the conflicts he had with Serenity before their relationship had developed into what it was today. His younger brothers had witnessed how he had become infatuated with her. While Callum hadn’t yet won over Camryn, he had at least made some advances. In contrast, Kevin and Hayden had made no progress at all. Grandma May was not in a rush, though she had set a one-year deadline for them. It was up to Kevin to decide how he wanted to meet that deadline.

“Serenity, you’re here!” Camryn exclaimed as she heard Serenity’s footsteps upon entering the store. She turned and greeted Serenity with a smile. “You have really good ears.” Serenity placed a box of pastries in front of Camryn, explaining, “I passed by a bakery and bought several boxes of freshly baked pastries. I tasted them and thought they were delicious, so I got you a box.” Camryn accepted the gift with a smile and expressed her gratitude. She enjoyed desserts, believing they were the key to a woman’s heart.

“Camryn, I’m here to pick up the bouquet I ordered,” Serenity said. Camryn smiled and replied, “It’s ready for you.” She stood up to retrieve the bouquet that had been prepared earlier and handed it to Serenity. “Thanks,” Serenity said as she accepted the bouquet. “I should be the one thanking you. You always support my business.”

Serenity noticed that Camryn appeared a bit thinner than usual and asked, “Camryn, have you not been eating well lately? I think you’ve lost some weight. Are your aunts still bothering you?” “They won’t give up, but they’re not gaining anything from me either,” Camryn replied. It had been two months since her mother went to jail, and Camryn had already asked Dalton to take over Newman Enterprise. “Just yesterday, I fired my aunts’ sons. They had gathered some people…”

In the office, there was an uproar that negatively affected the company. Camryn’s cousins leveraged their relationship with their uncle to exert control over Newman Enterprise. For the sake of his two sisters, Mr. Newman often overlooked their behavior. However, Camryn refused to indulge them. Since they wanted a stake in Newman Enterprise, she decided not to tolerate them any longer. Seizing the opportunity, she dismissed all her cousins from the company. If her instincts were correct, her two aunts would soon cause her more trouble. Nonetheless, Camryn felt no fear towards them. “Just fire them if they’re incompetent. There’s no need to consider family ties; they weren’t kind to you to begin with.” Serenity was fully aware of how Camryn’s aunts treated her.
